The Thavorn allowed us to stay until 1pm so we decided on one more meal at the On On Cafe. This had to be the final eating session there as the bus for Surat Thani leaves at 3.30pm. Deferred salary full year holiday around the Mediterranean. Tuesday, 1 January 2008. Day 342 - Saturday 15th December Bagan/Car Myanmar. Another good night's sleep and a late morning too. The early start to Mt Popa was slowed due to necessary car repairs. The front was up on bricks, both wheels off, brakes removed and something else was getting a good kerosene wash. There were several "mechanics" so things would eventually be alright. Well, as alright as they had ever been! Steps were taken very carefully.

Deferred salary full year holiday around the Mediterranean. Saturday, 5 January 2008. Day 364 - Sunday 6th January Bangkok Thailand/Plane/HCMC Vietnam/Plane/Sydney Australia. Up with the alarm at 7.30am for final Muangphol rice soup shrimp breakfast. Ready and checked out by 10am. Meter from Ratchetewi to Suvanabumi Airport 195B and no tolls. The Napolitano Family Cruise. A cruising we will go! All the plans are made and all we have left to do is pack! Mom has already started (and probably finished) so the rest of us better start catching up. Debbie, we will pick you up at Mom’s house between 8:30am and 9:00am and we will be driving down to the port.
