This is the home page of (Jonathan) Jay Holley. I’m a licensed architect living and working. In Lawrence, Kansas. I’ve had the chance to work on some wonderful project with my colleagues at Gould Evans. Including the renovations and additions to the Lawrence Public Library. New York Elementary School, and Sunset Hill Elementary School. I have a zeal for both the built world and the written word. In the 1940s, a government mission titled the Manhattan Project was developed to create the first atomic bomb. The following three sites were established to help in this endeavor: Los Alamos in New Mexico; Oak Ridge, Tennessee; and my hometown of Richland, Washington. These three locations were pivotal in creating the first atomic weapons that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
