My boy's ventilator really blows. It was 11:18pm when we went in to check on Liam. Now, with his temperature rising, the shivering motion that resolved so quickly in the morning was present and stronger. His rate of breathing was about three times what it should be. By a quarter to 12am we were calling 911. 8220;Even though he looks fine now, we haven’t gotten any answers as to what happened to cause him to get here. We made subtle changes to his vent settings only a few hours ago! The wait was kind of b...

My boy's ventilator really blows. The Year (so far) in Pictures. Full disclosure, If you follow me on Instagram ( pressuresupport. Or Twitter ( @pressuresupport). You’ve probably already seen most of this, But this way, you can see it again all in one place. I guess I just picked the wrong year to fall off of my blogging game, because Liam’s 6th year has been a pretty good one. His hips however are both dislocated. He’s still a rock star. Don’t care, I’m still walking. Yes other than that Liam stayed awa...

My boy's ventilator really blows. Admittedly, it’s a lot of pressure and meaning to put on some ink under my skin. But that’s just it…. All of my Ink, Means something. Besides, that shop in town has a sign that says twenty dollar tuesdays for any words 5 letters or less.”. Yeah, good idea, that would be great.” I said waving her off and assuming we were joking, especially since I was due to be at work in less than an hour. “yeah, let’s get tattoos.”. Skin or tattoo ink. 8220;Ah, you must be E.W.O...I put...

My boy's ventilator really blows. Liam the Ninja and his new Belt. We almost didn’t make it to see Walter at all. (You’ve heard me talk about Walter in my speech here. 8220;I’ll just text Walter that we aren’t going to make it. This is nuts, it’s going to be over before we even make it there.” She said. 8220;You made it! Walter wouldn’t have it though, and only a few minutes after we got settled the sensei addressed his students for the last time. A few minutes in to an already emotional speech...I don&#...

The Glory Of The Grind: December 2012
http://glory-of-the-grind.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
The Glory Of The Grind. Monday, December 31, 2012. All that said, by the time we got there Sunday afternoon, most of that hill was fairly grassy and melted, so we ended up on smaller portion much farther down. The boys were bummed to not go to the top, but it was just the right size hill for Micah and the older 2 had a blast as well. I haven't gone sledding like that in awhile and it was really fun! Looking forward to the next big snow:). Here comes Caleb and Noah! And her e goes Micah and Daddy. On Vuln...

Sunday, June 24, 2012. Life in the fishbowl. The Williamson family jumping for joy. I have spent 30 years in the fishbowl. That amazes even me! But looking back, I can honestly say that my "PK" experience had more good than bad. And I credit my parents for so much of that. Sure, they were imperfect like any other parents trying to do their best. But we kids always knew we were top priority. That really tickles me! A multicultural ministry in Franklin, Tennessee seventeen years ago. Today they are lea...

The Glory Of The Grind: February 2012
http://glory-of-the-grind.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
The Glory Of The Grind. Saturday, February 25, 2012. We have had a very mild (knock on wood) winter so far this year in PA and the boys have been loving spending more time outside. Although I am definitely a summer girl, I have to say it would be nice for one big snow - I guess we'll see what March has to offer! Here are a few pictures of the boys outside the last few weeks. Out for a walk on a beautiful afternoon. Throwing rocks over the geese (hopefully). Noah playing with Micah. And here they come!

The Glory Of The Grind: October 2013
http://glory-of-the-grind.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
The Glory Of The Grind. Saturday, October 5, 2013. We have a baby girl! Last Monday, Jane Elizabeth Keating was born at 12:32pm weighing 6lb10oz and measuring 19 1/2 inches in length. Jane means "gift from God" or "God is gracious" and we are so thankful for this little blessing in our family. She is already a little princess among her brothers and they are having so much fun holding and snuggling her! I have two younger brothers, who are awesome, but I always wished I had an older brother to look out fo...
