Sunday, January 29, 2006. I am taking a study breather from my History Rep. Log and I am finding the pieces of music that I am analyzing fascinating. I know I am a nerd! I have listened to the Erlking over a dozen times, finding that each time I listen to it I love this song that Schubert composed. (Fischer-Dieskau sings it beautifully and Brian Werhle comes in a close second! Well, I should continue on in my studies and finish this quick break. Just had to let my thoughts out there. Sunday, November 27, 2005. So Friday was parent teacher day at Montessori. We dropped Sam off at Little Lambs and headed over to the school. It had been made clear that this was to let us know what his favourite things are and not "how well he was doing". We sat with the music teacher first and the first words out of her mouth were "aawww We like Sam R! I said "we do too! The best part is he's so happy there and they seem to really like him. Wednesday, February 21, 2007. Time to catch y’all up. Since the new year life has been a roller coaster with mostly loop the loop, scary vertical drops and lots of white knuckling! However, throughout this same craziness, life has had some beautiful moments. The kids are so beautiful and full of life. They are both very bright and wrap everyone around their little fingers (except Sam’s teacher who seems to think Sam is a pain in the butt :o( what does she know? Can you see my huge smile in this writing!
