Sunday, July 20, 2014. This is the new dog. We missed Bear so much and we saw this little dog at the pound. She is smaller than Bear in weight and peppy-er. She is 1 year old. She was a stray so we know very little about her. So far it has been a good start. Joys kids were here and she was nice to them so I think it will be ok. Take care and come see us when you can. Its obviously a slow process but its so fun to see the shock on LaNea's face each time she realizes what she's sounding out. The human brain is just amazing! Every time she figures out a word she always tries to put it in a sentence (who knows why) and they are sometimes so funny.
