Home Economics | Just Us

Asymp; Leave a comment. Sometimes I think people wonder, how do homeschoolers get home economics… Well, my sweet friends, we get home economics every single day when we clean, cook, etc. Or take our day back in March (maybe April) when we were helping out our neighbors by taking their dogs out to the bathroom during the day while their owners were at work. Asymp; 1 Comment. I love how much my kiddos love to play outside. Any opportunity they get, they’re outside riding bikes, jumping on the trampoline, digging in the dirt…. While Lacee and I cooked crabs and pranced around our gardens, the kiddos rode their bikes. Connor used Kylie’s umbrella to get a sailboat effect…. it didn’t work out so much for him. Ha ha ha ha. Rock-A-Bye Bradbury: Growing Up...
http://rock-a-byebradbury.blogspot.com/2016/06/growing-up.html
Tuesday, June 7, 2016. These two girls are growing up. Neither no longer "babies" all though they will both always be My baby. Isla thinks she's nearly grown up now. She announces to me everyday. "Mom, when I'm 7 and all grown up." She tells me about what her wedding will be like. How she will continue living at home with her cousin Lawson and all the fun things she will do. Its so entertaining to hear her tell stories. She is really good at it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Great Umbrella Heist.

Rock-A-Bye Bradbury: August 2016
http://rock-a-byebradbury.blogspot.com/2016_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Our sweet, feisty, tiny, brave, loving, snuggling, strong little girl is TWO! I can hardly believe it's been two years since I first held her in my arms and cried over how beautifully perfect God designed her. It felt like a dream then, and it feels like a dream now that two whole years have gone by. Her budding personality, giggles and kisses keep us smiling every day. We've learned so much from her these past two years and what it takes to be parents to two fun-loving girls.

Thursday, June 9, 2016. 24 from my 4 yr old! I asked Isla these 24 questions just after her 4th birthday and here are her answers. some are hilarious including the fact that she thinks I'm 12 yrs older than Joel! Makes since that she sees him as a big kid :). How old are you? UmmmI am 6. Just kidding, I am 4.". What do you want to be when you grow up? But every time you tell me not to grow up! I AM going to grow up. I want to be a nurse.". What makes you happy? What makes you sad? What makes you laugh?

Rock-A-Bye Bradbury: October 2015
http://rock-a-byebradbury.blogspot.com/2015_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 29, 2015. Laylin has really started showing more signs of being a true toddler. Recently, she has started signing more than just, more. All the work and videos have started to pay off because she is communicating with us through sign language! She can now sign:. Isla has gotten into signing again too. Signing is helping her communicate with us and reducing some frustrations, but I've also noticed that it is encouraging her to talk to us. She's starting to say more words now too. Subscri...

Rock-A-Bye Bradbury: July 2016
http://rock-a-byebradbury.blogspot.com/2016_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 13, 2016. My girls have been keeping me busy lately. If I could have one wish, I would wish Isla's non-stop energy and bigger than Texas personality was contagious! Being 6 months pregnant and already suffering from lack of sleep due to two little gals who try to climb in our bed every night. I could really use it! Her ongoing energy and enthusiasm seems to be limitless at times. I love this about her. I can't wait to see the relationship these two form with our third. From one tiny acorn.

Rock-A-Bye Bradbury: November 2015
http://rock-a-byebradbury.blogspot.com/2015_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 17, 2015. Isla is calling him the birthday "boy" but since he's hitting the big 3-0, I think its safe to switch over to birthday man! This main man of mine makes my heart skip a beat every day. From his even temper to his sarcastic remarks, I 100% believe he was designed just for me. He keeps me grounded, encouraged, enthusiastic and most importantly he puts a smile on my face every day. I look up to him and try to be my best for him. Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Do you ever just get the urge to organize? | Just Us
https://tawnajacobs.wordpress.com/2011/06/16/do-you-ever-just-get-the-urge-to-organize
Do you ever just get the urge to organize? Asymp; Leave a comment. Sometimes I get this URGE to reorganize something. Back at the end of March, I had this URGE to reorganize my cabinets. SO I had the kids take everything out…. After much consideration, I figured out where I wanted everything to go and we put everything away, ever so neatly. 1.5 months later… well, let’s just say it didn’t stick. Ha ha ha ha.
