The Allen’s Italian Adventure. October 22, 2007. 8212; italianallen @ 12:24 pm. New pics of San Luca, views from our October apartment, and Bologna at daybreak. Regardless the too many teaching hours, the odd timing, late nights, early mornings, Saturdays, the bully-boss in her odd bizarre accent, still it’s Italy, still it’s raining, the ipod making one feel like Salinger’s Seymour, the reverse paranoia, being convinced that everyone’s out to make you happy. How was your weekend? I went, see, my nipple?

Boulder, I will miss your snow, falling as if in agreement with itself that it should fall, that it has every business falling here, the flashing from the snowplow lights exposing the fluff, filling our streets and hair thus I will miss your snow, Boulder, as it does not snow like this in Bologna. Which isn’t to say it doesn’t get cold it does. When the Italians (alas, an outside invention, these people ...

What’s been going on? April 22, 2008 in April 2008. Well, where does one start? I’ve been away from blogging for over a month and I have so much to say. For some reason someone changed the format of wordpress and now I cant figure out how to attach photos to my blog so you’ll have to use Fliker until I figure it out. Do you know how frustrating it is for someone who knows how to practically figure anything out and cant attach a photo? My birthday was the best Yet with Mike and Debbie visiting from Irvine!

May 3, 2008 in May 2008. The Patience to Wait for the Vision. Patience is not the same as indifference;. Patience conveys the idea of someone who is. Tremendously strong and able to withstand all assaults. Having the vision of God is the source of patience. Because it gives us God’s true and proper inspiration. Moses endured, not because of his devotion to his principles. Of what was right, nor because of his sense of duty to God,. But because he had a vision of God. A person who has the vision of God.
