Wednesday, July 25, 2012. We have now been here at CHOP for almost 5 weeks. It has been a long arduous process. Isaiah continues to improve daily, though it has been infinitesimally slow. We will still be here another 6-8 weeks, unless he makes some dramatic change for the better. 1 Isaiah is gaining weight. 3 Josiah has been able to stay down here with us, and we have found some fun and free activities to do together. 5 The floors in the boy's rooms at home have been replaced. We are very blessed to have you in our lives supporting us and praying for us. We hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Tuesday, May 7, 2013. We are open to any suggestions! Isaiah is such an amazing trooper. I don't know how he goes through everything and still manages to smile and flirt with the nurses. Dr. Sutton did feel the surgery went well and that the cord was definitely tethered, so we did the right thing. Now it's just time to heal. Hopefully, we will be discharged this Thursday or Friday. Saturday, May 11, 2013. Yesterday, Isaiah was discharged to HOME. Straight from PICU, and we arrived at our house around 5pm. This was a short stay considering he had major spinal cord surgery!
