A wee place where I can share my work with all. December 10, 2013. Vodka is very much the spirit of choice across Latvia and the rest of the former USSR. Who could blame them, with temperatures on the Baltic coast dropping to as low -20 degrees centigrade at night there is a reason we in the UK refer to the cold as ‘Baltic’.
