Friday, July 27, 2012. Gwenyth visits in January. Back in January, Rhianwen's mom Gwenyth came and visited us here in LA. We went to the beach, visited some friends, and it was nice! Here are some photos of the niceness! We had a nice Christmas brunch with our friends the Harts before taking off for a few days to Palm Springs, where we stayed at our favorite place the Ace Hotel. Thursday, October 6, 2011. Jeryl ties the Knot. Our very dear friends Joe and Meryl- colloquially known as Jeryl- married each other back in August. We were very honored to be a part of their big day, as friends and actual people that participated in wedding duties, like reading Bible verses and being in the wedding party and stuff. Here is a smattering of photos from the celebration, which was altogether beautiful and lovely. We'll tell you about the nuptials in another post:). We had such a fun weekend!

Friday, August 13, 2010. Meet our beautiful new niece: Naomi Caitlin! We are delighted to announce the birth of our beautiful niece, Naomi Caitlin! She arrived on Monday, 8/9/10 (what a fun birthday to have) weighing 7 pouts and 12 ounces. My sister Sarah shared that she is very mellow and cute. The cute goes without saying! Benner and I are a very proud aunt and uncle! God, please let my labor be four hours! Welcome to the world Naomi! Your Aunt Rhi and Uncle Benner love you already! Did you ever wonder?

Saturday, September 18, 2010. The first night back from our anniversary getaway. I was sleeping and Benner was up writing. Apparently around 12:45am, water starting dripping through the ceiling fan in our dining room, and within minutes it was pouring! Did a pipe burst? What could this be? Sunday, November 13, 2011. After three years in LA, we finally made the not-such-a-big trip to Vegas! It's just a four-hour drive that we had often thought about making, but never got around to doing it. Then Aunt Janet and Uncle Steve were there for a conference and invited us up for the weekend - the offer included dune buggy riding - and we made it. We had a blast! It was a great trip! Friday, July 27, 2012. Been a while since we updated the blog, huh? Anyone still out there? We'll just pick up where we left off and pretend it hasn't taken us forever to post anything. So in October, Rhianwen went to Chicago for work. She hadn't been to Chicago before (other than her one sick day when we were driving through on our way out to LA) and she loved it! Saturday, October 30, 2010. Amazing. And I have to say, Naomi barely cried at all the entire time we were there. Steve is very hands on active papa and you can see how much he adores his baby girl. Naomi is a lucky baby girl to have two parents who love her so much! It was hard to say goodbye. I was missing my sweet baby niece like crazy all week!
