Thursday, February 25, 2010. Leaver's conference next week, have we come that far already? Playing a mario kart review game; kids LOVE IT. I LOVE IT. The 3rd years have taken their high school entrance exams; they no longer even put up the front of trying to study in class anymore. BOO. I'm fed up with japanese taxes on beer. One of my co-teachers is hung-OVER today. she's just been outta it all day after rolling in at 10am after spending the night at a hot spring / japanese style hotel. Best part is there are some technicians here or something and they're testing all these alarms. Me and the other teachers are laughing at the hungover teach she's like "ahhhhhhhhh i wanna go home". Wednesday, April 15, 2009. So, the last couple of weeks have seen spring arrive in full, which has been nice. The heater has been turned off, the windows opened, and the weather enjoyed. :). The snow pack on the mountains is melting now too, so there's a constant stream of water going through the gutters that line all the streets, even though we haven't had rain in a couple weeks. Way-gook-in' it up in Korea! A foreign face in a foreign place. Thursday, July 16, 2009. I have said goodbye to all but 5 of my classes. It's interesting to see which students are sad that I am leaving, which are happy, and which just don't care! One first grade (sophomore) student was sooo sad as he was leaving and I didn't realize that he liked me so much! Poor thing. :-( I am writing my email address on the board, so I hope the students I was closer to will write me! But hopefully we will stay in touch.
