Keeping up with the Jones. Friday, May 20, 2011. That is a statement accompanied by multiple fist pumps and a gigantic, ginormous sigh of relief. Now that school is over, i have been able to do things that have really been needing to be done. I cleaned the house. Washed 2 cycles of dishes. Also, i've been able to spend more time with this fool. I'm glad we've been able to hang out and spend time together, especially since life hasn't completely settled down. May 25, 2011 at 8:16 AM. On saturday, nay and i had the great pleasure of starting a new church service at our church on saturday nights. we ended our thursday night college group and dove into something scary and wonderful. nathan spent all day setting up and making sure mics worked and the decorations didn't look like my kindergartners did them. he worked so hard to make sure this service was uplifting, from God, and true. Keeping up with the Jones. Thursday, December 30, 2010. In 4 years, one can do lots of things:. Graduate college (but who are we kidding, this really takes 5. or 8 if your me.or kip). Most likely get tenure. The show weeds can go downhill.fast. The show dexter can become UNBELIEVABLE. And the hardest and most wonderful one of all: being married to their high school sweetheart. 4 years of all of these things can cause an immense blissful overload. here is a synopsis of the past 4 years. Sunday, March 7, 2010. The long and winding road. Right now it's raining. Not much, just a few rogue drops escaping from the heavens above to the earth below. They dampen the asphalt in patterns, creating a negative of ancient celestial constellations. Puddles from recent pourings are awakened to lively dancing. The non-native palms lean and bend with the breeze. And yet, the sun is out. The sky overhead is blue. Shadows are cast long and contrasting. How can the soul go on? What use is there in striving?
