Saturday, May 22, 2010. Born 6:35 am, Sunday, May 9. 6 lbs 13 oz, 21.5 inches long. The first picture of Abby was taken the day after she was born. The second one is when I was at Megan's and she was a few days old. She is so beautiful and so sweet. Abby is so long for a newborn- at least one that weighs what she does. Monday, February 15, 2010. This is our house buried in snow. I am getting tired of winter. I can't see the mailbox from the house anymore. The guys in the neighborhood keep the mailboxes snowblowed so the mailman will deliver the mail. If the mailman can't drive right up next to the boxes we don't get mail that day. Sunday, February 5, 2012. A few weeks ago as I got off the phone with a best friend from high school, Avery asked me who I was talking to. She has to know EVERYTHING). Our conversation continued a little longer and then I asked Avery who her Best Friend was; without hesitation she replied: "oh mom that's easy, Ansley.". She has asked me multiple times this week, " when is Ansley going to wake up from her nap? I want her to play with me.". I can't put into words how happy this makes me :).

Thursday, June 28, 2012. Take me out to the ball game. I had never been to a Major League Baseball game until this week and I ended up going to two in one week! We went to a Rockies game while we were in Colorado which was Monday night and then to an Astros game Tuesday night. Tuesday was a long day! This is the only game I got at the Rockies game. I'm a slacker when it comes to taking pictures! It was still really hot the whole night. This photo was taken at the Astros game. We had great seats!

Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Our sweet little guy came very peacefully and uneventfully into the world on February 22, 2013. We can not get enough of this sweet and 100% healthy little man! Now brace yourselves, what you're about to read is seriously the BEST birth story EVER! It was a nice reunion and they could not wait to see Ansley! I told them I couldn't believe they remembered us and they said they don't have many incidents like ours and it would be hard to forget! We are all so in love with him!

Friday, August 24, 2012. I really want to get back into the blogging world! Ok now enough complaining cause this week has been a breath of fresh air! I feel like this is the start of a new phase in our life! Firstly-Joey passed his Qualifier earlier this month and NEVER has to take another course for the rest of his PhD career. Now its hardcore research time(which he loves so he is SUPER excited the course part has come to an end! We're pretty proud of him! My baby girl started Pre-K! First Day of School.

Monday, August 29, 2011. I know my blog posting has been scarce. I have a lot to catch up on. This is why its hard to get caught up with anything-. I walked downstairs for a second to get my clothes out of the dryer and I come up to find. 2 girls playing in the water. Emptying the soap dispenser. And half a tube of toothpaste in the sink. I heard some mischievous giggling as I was walking up the stairs, peaked in on them and opted to grab the camera before they had to help clean it all up:).
