We got a very nice (and cheap) room there so we decided to stay for few days despite not knowing what to do there. After doing some research, we found out there is an interesting place called " Heaven and Hell Cave. Also known as " Wat Tham Ta Pan. Just nearby where we were staying. Tirta Gangga Water Palace Karangasem, Bali. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. When I was in Candidasa. I took a day trip to visit Tirta Gangga. About 20 minutes away. During our ride to get there, we were greeted stunning view of rice paddy terraces along the way. Despite the rain, we made it there (though we missed it at first.). Is a beautiful water garden near a natural spring, built by the late King of Karangasem back in 1948. Tirta Gangga means water from the Ganges. May all beings be happy and free!

However, shocked with the exchange rate in Padang Bai (we forgot to change our Thai Baht before leaving Ubud), we had to change our plan and decided to go to Candidasa.
