Partiremos del parque Echenique y viajaremos por aproximadamente 2 horas por la carretera central pasando por pintorescos pueblitos, en San Mateo y llegando a Rio Blanco (3600 msnm) será donde empezáramos a caminar aproximadamente 3 a 4 horas de ascenso hasta llegar a la laguna de Rapagna.
