A tale of running away from home. Saturday, December 31, 2005. After passing out at 8:00 pm and missing new year's in Thailand two years ago and living through the L.A. riots-looking new year's eve fires of Ecuador last year, I was up for anything this year and Japan did not disappoint. Taking the train into Tsujido, a small surfer town just outside of Tokyo, I met up with Hooper. We dropped by his apartment first and I was shocked by how tiny it was. It was like living in a closet! Scott, Hooper, Brian ...

A tale of running away from home. Monday, May 22, 2006. I cannot believe that I have actually been on a mountain, 6,000 meters up. Everest Base Camp was absolutely one of the highlights of my entire trip. Everest itself is stunning from a distance, and becomes even more imposing and beautiful the closer you get. Leaving base camp I developed a terrible headache and nosebleed from the altitude. That night was a difficult one because of the altitude and the accommodations. The monestary was basic -...O wat...

A tale of running away from home. Monday, February 27, 2006. Finally Some Karaoke in Halong Bay. I have been dying to karaoke since Japan. Strangely enough no one would indulge my interest in Japan. So when our boatload of travelers had the opportunity to karaoke at a small smoky bar in Halong Bay, after several large Tiger beers, let's just say that I didn't refuse the microphone. In fact, I embraced the microphone. I was the karaoke. You all would have loved it. S. Creamed for more. T. Hue Sucks My Ass.

A tale of running away from home. Friday, March 31, 2006. Early Morning Climbing in Pushkar. Thoughts That Crossed My Mind as I Climbed a Mountain in Pushkar to See the Sunrise. A tale of running away from home. Monday, January 30, 2006. At the killing fields a young Cambodian boy asked if he could take his photo with me. I agreed and just as Kat took the photo, the little dirt leaned in to kiss me. It is a hilarious photo because. I dodged him just in time and am laughing as he kisses my cheek, but sadly I know this boy is going to grow up to be a. Boob-grabber. Do they breed these guys here in Asia or something? We passed on the road. Posted by Della Rollins at 6:21 AM. 3 Cata...
