Paula B. Puckett. Writing and more…. It’s Not So Much About Procrastination……. →. July 27, 2015 · 8:12 am. In which there is a Most Unusual Discovery. Here’s another Flea Market Find–a small rectangular footstool or bench with a paper rush seat. It looked fairly old and well worn when I found it. I rescued this little gem for practically NOTHING at the sale. It will be just the right thing to use once I repair the torn and sagging seat. Maybe seventy plus years from now, if someone should discover this l...

Paula B. Puckett. Seeds Are Planted and Watch Them Grow! March 4, 2015 · 1:36 pm. The weather out here on the farm has been challenging, to say the least. First there was freezing rain. Then ice. We had snow a few days later. Wonderful, white, fluffy snow which was fun to explore and beautiful to see for a short time. Since my main studio space is out in the barn, I really couldn’t see spending long amounts of creative work time out there–I mean, seriously? It is COLD out there! Tagged as Creative living.

Being Mindful. Being Minimalist. Show Me Simplicity Archives. 8220;Busy” is the new “Fine”. May 31, 2013. Those who are wise won’t be busy, and those who are too busy can’t be wise. Summer time is here and all my friends with older kids are suddenly “so busy”. I’m confused by this. Isn’t summer time to relax? Time to enjoy a little downtime from the social pressures of school activities? So, how are you? It was in this video. So how do I stop this glorification of busy? Find peace in the quiet. One pair of shoes at a time. A journey towards less. June 6, 2016. Excess photo alert: the sun doesn’t often show his face around here! Yesterday I took the day off, no work whatsoever. I lay in the hammock all afternoon and read. At the perfectly appointed time The Boss came out with a large glass of Pinot Gris. At this point for fear of wasting the Pinot by inadvertently watering the grass with it I moved to the table and continued to read, sip and listen to the birdsong. Now look at them. May 26, 2016.

One pair of shoes at a time. A journey towards less. How far are you prepared to go? July 4, 2014. Even my decluttering style is an all or nothing one. I empty whole cupboards at once and have never subscribed to the “one bit at a time”. Frankly I would have died of boredom and we would still be flailing under a mountain of clutter. But each to his own and in devising my workshops that is something I have had to take into account. However it is the “how far do I want to go? Posted in Personal Life.

One pair of shoes at a time. A journey towards less. July 8, 2014. You would have to be fully certified hermit not to know at least a couple of lines of “that” song from Frozen. Personally, I think “Would you like to build a snowman” is considerably more poignant and reminds me of “Slipping through my fingers” by Abba. Moments promised and lost forever. However, this is not a maudlin blog. I am not one for living in the past! But as hoarders, isn’t that just what we do? I was introduced to Thich Nhat Hanh.
