Sunday, February 26, 2012. Dear Family and Friends,. St Paul de Vence. This time, we decided to try something a little different. We very much enjoyed our stay in St Paul and look forward to returning to the hotel so that Joe can get his tour in a supercar! Anyone care to join us? Sunday, February 19, 2012. Joe b...

The Onstotts: Ireland 2012
http://onstotts.blogspot.com/2012/08/ireland-2012.html
Sunday, August 26, 2012. Dear Family and Friends,. The next morning, we began the drive to our holiday house in Ballinskelligs in the south-western tip of the country. Along the way, Joe got distracted and had to stop at Lismore Castle and at a trout stream. However, the favorite stop was at the grocery store where we found all kinds of food not found in markets in France! On the third day, the weather improved enough for Julie and Elyse to go horseback riding at Rossbeigh beach. After putting on the...

Sunday, July 15, 2012. Fourth of July 2012. Dear Tout le Monde,. Kandersteg, Switzerland (CH). Cheese-making in the Swiss Alpes. Since we passed the Fourth passed without too much fanfare, we decided instead to celebrate Bastille Day on the 14th of July. Bastille Day celebrates the end of the monarchy and the beginning of democracy in France by remembering the storming of the prison in Paris. To the French, it is equivalent to the Fourth and is celebrated in much the same way. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Poulsen Family: May 2008
http://thepoulsenparty.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 22, 2008. It is so funny to go to all of these preschool graduations. I love all the funny things the little kids do. And I think it is hilarious to see them in their little caps and gowns with all the parents with their video cameras and high-tech cameras. We are completely guilty of this description. How did this happen! I don't think I ever "graduated" from preschool.what a silly time we live in! Grandma made candy necklaces for each of the preschool grads this year! Tuesday, May 13, 2008.

Poulsen Family: Christmas Tree Cutting in the Rain
http://thepoulsenparty.blogspot.com/2008/12/christmas-tree-cutting-in-rain.html
Monday, December 1, 2008. Christmas Tree Cutting in the Rain. However, we still join the family for the tradition. It's usually a lot of fun. This year, the kids spent about 10 minutes outside and then sat in the van and watched a movie. Snow or no snow we can handle, but rain was not my idea for a fun picnic. I think we'll watch the forecast a little closer next year:). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). It's always a party at the Poulsens! View my complete profile. Friends Near and Far.

Poulsen Family: October 2008
http://thepoulsenparty.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 15, 2008. I can't believe it! She is growing up way too fast! Ellie was so spoiled this year and had a whole birthday week! Thursday, October 9, 2008. Tate Loves to Sing! Everyday, the whole family "enjoys" Tate's rendition of several new songs he has discovered. I was laughing on my way home from kindergarten carpool as he sang these songs over and over again:. 1: I believe I can fly. I got hit by the ice cream guy. All I wanted was a popsicle. But I ended up in the hospital!

The Onstotts: August 2011
http://onstotts.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 21, 2011. Dear Family and Friends,. Our first stop was the Chateau of Villandry. Known for its gardens, we skipped the interior and started touring the grounds. Julie spent her time trying to discover what each plant, vegetable, and fruit was while the kids raced through the labarynth of hedges and paths. They also had a nice hedge maze, though there were many small tunnels that made it easy too easy to cheat. Our drive to Chambord took us along the banks of the Liore river and through man...
