Largest Sugar Maple Tree. Adjacent to the Log Cabin grows a landmark sugar maple tree. Measured on December 17, 1996 it has a girth of 17’ 10 circumference or 62 diameter at 4 1/2’, a height of 76 feet, and a spread of 79 feet. It is 368 years old. On Saturday, August 23, 1997, a team of horticultural experts appraised the monetary value of the state’s largest Sugar Maple as $23, 112. CLICK ON THE BUILDING YOU WOULD LIKE TO VISIT.
