Boyling Point: Goodbye Winter
http://boylinpoint.blogspot.com/2009/04/goodbye-winter.html
Let children walk with nature, let them see the beautiful blendings and communion of death and life, their joyous inseparable unity, as taught in woods and meadows, plains and mountains and streams of our blessed star, and they will learn that death is stingless indeed, and as beautiful as life. JOHN MUIR. Wednesday, April 15, 2009. Today when Susanna went off to school, she was not wearing all of her usual gear. Wow. 40 degrees outside and it's spring! Susanna's kindergarten class took a field trip to J...

The Price is Right. Friday, January 4, 2013. Once every two years is good, right? I'm slowing down, but these were just too darn cute (and handsome! Blythe is 4 and just as sassy as this picture would indicate. Maeve turned 1 on Christmas day and was very dainty about eating her multiple cupcakes. Boyd loves legos. Too bad it is now necessary to take out a loan to get them. Ada is always the first to help and a champion jump-roper. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Price Mom and Me. James and Rachel et al.

enjoying the journey: October 2008
http://baileyandthekids.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 22, 2008. I was so proud of W this soccer season. He played and he was good! He worked so hard and was running, and kicking. and I just couldn't be prouder of him because he found joy out of doing it, and he did it because he wanted to, not because I wanted him to. This is my new found success as a mother. When I finally learned to GIVE UP my PRIDE and the pressure I feel from the society around me, I found that me and my kids were so much HAPPIER! THE WORLD REALLY IS FAIR!

This festival brings about 70 balloons together onto one field for various activities that range from glows, tethered rides, airplane shows, food, kids games and events, to bluegrass music and skydiving demos. Here's the Harley Balloon and ya know, we just had to get a picture. Jed's loving the trike. He's hoping it could be our next family vehicle. This hay maze was by f...
