It has been a whole year since my total hysterectomy….a whole year! I think the older you get, the faster time goes. I marked the occasion with a small birthday cake bearing the image of an angry uterus. In a few short days, a hysterectomy will remove mine. Somehow turning 43 was more of a milestone than I expected. Some would say I’m starting out this new year on a bad foot. That getting a hysterectomy seven days in is just terrible form. My journey back from cervical cancer. This One’s a Fighter. I’m working with arguably the best gyn/onc surgeon in the country at one of the best medical facilities in the world. Two days ago, this doctor looked me in the eye and said, “Well, do you have it in you to fight just one more time? 8221; About a thousand thoughts and emotions raced through and then drained from me. I felt empty. My entire world swirled around me and left me sitting there… flat. The rest of the answer was that I was scared.

Learning to Fight Like A Girl. Life After Endometrial Cancer. Posted in Clean Eating. We hot back drom vacation and I came back wirh some extra…pounds yhat is. I ate what I wanted to because it was vacation. And frlt like a complete and total slug. So, my thyroid meds have caused a 10 pound weight gain. And vacation added three more. Now yhat I am cleared to exercise again, it is time to get back to healthy eating. BJs was having a sale on Fitbit, so I went and got one. :). I am geeling so much better!

Un día, un buen amigo me planteo un reto: Tenía que hacer un regalo a unos recientes papas y le gustaba la capa de baño, pero él tenia muy claro lo que quería para ellos .una capa de baño con forma de TIBURÓN. Así que me puse manos a la obra: esbozo la idea sobre papel, corto por aquí, pruebo por allá. Y poco a poco la idea va tomando forma. Mi preferida es la de color amarillo.
