The Butterfly Mage: March 2012
http://butterflymage.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
The ramblings of an eclectic Wiccan. Sunday, March 25, 2012. Close to the end. I can't call what mom is considering "suicide". I don't want to lose my mom. But I think she is rapidly reaching the point where she doesn't have any quality of life at all. She's starting to have trouble with her circulation now also. Her feet are starting to turn black. I hope that she can have an end before she starts losing body parts. This illness has been exceedingly cruel. This is a terrible situation. Well It took two ...

The Butterfly Mage: Remembering my mom
http://butterflymage.blogspot.com/2012/05/remembering-my-mom.html
The ramblings of an eclectic Wiccan. Sunday, May 20, 2012. I haven'tnbeen writing as often lately. The death of my friend Ro really bothered me. I have been less social. My mom died this week. She had been sick for five years. Lung disease is a terrible way to die. My coven held a memorial service for her last night and it was quite lovely and dignified. My friend Doris drove up from South Carolina for emotional support and for the memorial. I am grateful. May 20, 2012 at 1:59 PM. May 21, 2012 at 12:16 AM.

The Butterfly Mage: January 2012
http://butterflymage.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
The ramblings of an eclectic Wiccan. Sunday, January 29, 2012. So I finally did a final case count for my new caseload. I have 150 cases. I was told that I was going to start with 70 cases. The past two weeks have been 55-hour work weeks without any kind of overtime (the State is broke because the rich don't have to pay taxes anymore). I can honestly say that I have never been more fatigued. Sunday, January 22, 2012. Workiin' for the man! I also plan on cancelling AT&T in October when my contract ends...

The Butterfly Mage: Various thoughts on my wretched family
http://butterflymage.blogspot.com/2012/04/various-thoughts-on-my-wretched-family.html
The ramblings of an eclectic Wiccan. Sunday, April 8, 2012. Various thoughts on my wretched family. It should be the other way around. Of course, dad is a Christian and YHVH rewards evil sociopaths with many blessings. It's how YHVH rolls. It's part of why I'm no longer a Christian. I can't worship an evil god. So, with mom's death approaching, I keep thinking about my family and it's diseased interpersonal dynamics. It's depressing and frustrating. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Death of a friend.

The Butterfly Mage: Prior Credit

The ramblings of an eclectic Wiccan. Saturday, February 18, 2012. Apparently, however, Christians aren't the least bit concerned about the economy. They are only concerned with banning contraception, gay marriage, Social Security, pulic schools, science, other religions, and abortion. Go figure. February 18, 2012 at 7:31 PM. February 20, 2012 at 12:04 AM. Well, at least they arent banning aspirin . :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ashram at Pooh's Corner. Magician Creed (Stella Arcane Mage).

The Butterfly Mage: September 2011
http://butterflymage.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
The ramblings of an eclectic Wiccan. Sunday, September 25, 2011. The Modern Job Interview. Blech. So I applied for a job at Parole and Probation. I've been on job interviews before. I'm usually pretty good at them. For the job I currently have, I was able to successfully draw a reasonable comparison between running a credit check and a criminal background check. But that was before the "modern" era in hiring where you have to be under 30 years old and already know how to do the job. Me: "I have.". Yeah I...

The Butterfly Mage: November 2011
http://butterflymage.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
The ramblings of an eclectic Wiccan. Saturday, November 26, 2011. Doug and I have had a nice visit with his mom (Jane). She had gall bladder surgery a few weeks ago and I'm happy to say that she seems to have made a full recovery. Huzzah! It's always nice to visit with family when it is with family members that are accepting and life-affirming. Gotta love the Android App market, eh? Tomorrow is going to be a drag. We must face the 6-7 hour drive from Erie to Baltimore. The horror. the horror. The latest ...

The ramblings of an eclectic Wiccan. Saturday, December 24, 2011. For my Christian friends, I want to take this time to wish you a wonderful Christmas holiday. I hope the special time with your families are memorable and warm. I hope that midnight mass is inspiring and life-affirming. May the Holy Spirit be with you that day and all days. Blessed be.
