http://meektx.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 20, 2012. Sure it's February and Christmas is a distant memory, but I haven't posted about our fun Christmas yet, so here goes! I wish I had it together to blog more often, but it just doesn't seem to be in me! And was done. She kept grabbing her seatbelt saying, "unbuckle! She enjoyed a few candy canes and suckers on our drive to help her stay content. She could care less about tv at her age! Let the Christmas fun begin. Playing at Nana and Pops's house. Sadie with her Nana. Sadie and H...

The Meek Family: January & February happenings
http://meektx.blogspot.com/2012/03/january-february-happenings.html
Wednesday, March 28, 2012. January and February happenings. We had a fun January and February! Here's some pics from our travels and events. At the beginning of January we met my dear friend Trisha and her precious girls Mia and Maggie at the lakehouse in Breckenridge. Colton and Mia are still great friends, so we love getting together to let them play. It was a fun three days full of silly, busy kids! All decked out in life jackets to head down to the boat dock. Hanging out in the backyard. Grandpa open...

The Meek Family: August 2011
http://meektx.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 2, 2011. A night at the ballpark. July brought two special friends to Midland for a few days of visiting. Linde came for her second trip out west and spent a few days with the kids and I during her summer break; and Kamara and Aubrey came last weekend to spend time with us. They were two visits I really looked forward to, and I can't believe they're already behind us! Sadie was wanting to crawl everywhere, but we had plenty of people to help hold a cute, squirmy 14 month old. Aubrey was m...

The Meek Family: July 2011
http://meektx.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 29, 2011. My parents were in town a couple of weeks ago, so we all went to an outdoor music concert at the museum. It started at 7:30, so we knew we wouldn't be able to stay long due to the fact the kids go to bed about that time! Although its hot here in West Texas, it is so dry, so its much more bearable to be outdoors in the shade then it was in Dallas. Colton's stylin' dance moves. Colton holding his Nana's hands.so cute! Walking around with Bopa. Chilling out with Pops. He was pretty fa...

The Meek Family: March 2011
http://meektx.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 28, 2011. We made our second (and most official, final) move at the end of February. We'd spent a month in Midland before returning to Dallas to spend 5 nights in our Dallas home before it officially sold. It was so strange to come 'home! I think it must have been a little confusing to Colton. We spent five, fun-filled days with friends. It was very refreshing to be with friends and spend a few more nights at "home! I know he misses his Dallas friends, but we've already got a playdate set u...

The Meek Family: June 2011
http://meektx.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 26, 2011. Just a few pictures of this new place we call home. David and I both agree, we really love our house. It's a fun layout, really open and it feels very cozy. For a while, its been one of our favorite things about Midland. I think pretty early on it really felt like home. It's a good thing since we've spent a lot of time here. :). Guest bathroom - this bathroom is in between Sadie's room and the guest bedroom (love the fancy light fixtures! A bit too fancy. Monday, June 6, 2011.

The Meek Family: Sandhills with daddy
http://meektx.blogspot.com/2012/04/sandhills-with-daddy.html
Thursday, April 26, 2012. Daddy blessed mommy in a HUGE way a couple of weeks ago by taking the kids out to the sandhills. Mommy got to stay home and rest, read, and be in a very quiet, peaceful house for a few hours all alone! The kids had a great time and they keep asking to go back. We try and appease them by taking them to a park in town with sand. :). I love the pictures David captured of fun in the sand! Buried in the sand! Superman escaping his sand burial! The Meek Family: September 2011
http://meektx.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 13, 2011. We have a walker. Yes, our sweet girl is finally walking! She was taking a couple of steps around 14 months, but seemed to simply prefer to crawl! Just a "few" more things Sadie does.(or things we want to remember about her at this age! She loves to throw away trash and pick up things around the house. She loves to pull items out of the diaper bag one at a time. She loves standing on her tiptoes to reach into drawers to see what she can pull out - not always a good thing!

The Meek Family: October 2011
http://meektx.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 27, 2011. Colton's 3rd birthday party was at a bounce house place. He was so excited about it! We found cute invitations and decided which friends we wanted to invite.some his age and some a bit older. Colton bouncing with 'the boys' (our neighbors). I think he could bounce, climb and slide all day long. BoPa trying to give the birthay boy a hug. Sadie enjoyed the party too. Celebrating with friends, pizza, and cupcakes. Happy birthday to our special three year old! We celebrated Colton...

The Meek Family: January 2012
http://meektx.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 15, 2012. The kids looked so cute before church today I snapped some pictures of them. These two definitely are the highlights or our day. They are silly, precious, dramatic, willful, and loving. They are getting better and better at perfecting their fake smiles. Sometimes we think they look a lot alike. Sadie absolutely adores her big brother.she tries to do every single thing he does. It's so sweet to see how much she looks up to him. Colton is 3 1/4 years old and Sadie is 20 months.
