Welcome to Alexander Schools, Inc. W E Sweatt Building. A History of Alexander Schools Inc. 1925-1935 The First Decade. 1935-1945 The Second Decade. 1945-1955 The Third Decade. 1955-1965 The Fourth Decade. 1965-1975 The Fifth Decade. In November 1950, a new kitchen was completed. On 1 February 1952, the wooden gymnasium to the right-of and just behind the Administration Building burned to the ground. In August 1952, the current building of Round Hill Church was completed at a cost of $225,000.

Welcome to Alexander Schools, Inc. The ASI (Alexander Schools, Inc.) Alumni Association was founded in 1947 by Victor Workman. As long as the Union Mills Learning Center is in existence, the Alumni reunion will be held on the second Sunday in August. Activities start on Saturday morning with registration, continuing through Saturday evening with business meeting and dinner, entertainment, and fellowship. S. Unday’s activities include: church services, lunch, and farewells till next year.

Welcome to Alexander Schools, Inc. The Class of 2005 was the last graduating class to have had any former students of the Union Mills Middle School, thereby ending the continuation of the V. T. Cooper Scholarship as funded by a former alumni of Alexander Schools, Inc. The $500 scholarship was established by the Union Mills Middle School Parent-Teacher Organization in 1998 to honor the 100 years of education in the Union Mills community. Union Mills closed in 1999.
