Thursday, November 20, 2008. 7 days and counting. Big Apple here we come! The only thing I am dreading is the cold. I don't like cold weather. I don't like hot either but medium is good. This morning weather.com said 31 is the high but feels like 27! But10 day says might be in the 40ish range and hopefully it will be! Layers will be the dress of the day I suppose. During the past month we have seen a vibrant 45 year old go home to be with his Father, a 25 year old young lady suffer a horrible stroke and our professional lives have been turned topsy turvy by the news that one of our own work family has cancer. There was one girl that walked with the aid of a walker with a seat, kind of like for heart patients. She had just gotten her face painted. As she was walking by the podium where I was giving out their ribbons, she asked if I could guess what animal she was. I said a tiger. She responded, "Yep, I am a ferocious animal can you tell?
