23 year old mom. Raising 4 under 2 and learning as I go. The big “A”. August 17, 2015. August 17, 2015. The doctor didn’t say either way. If it is a definite. Autism. “A serious developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact.” Could this really be happening to me? To my sweet boys? 8220;They need glasses” she also said. I guess those are cute on little babies. I hope they are strong glasses because my boys have super-hulk baby strength. Will I have the strength deep within?

Just You Wait – My Mommy Stuff
https://mymommystuff.com/2015/07/25/just-you-wait
July 25, 2015. July 27, 2015. Photo Courtesy of Masterpeace Creatives. I love that my daughter is so much “easier” than my son. It’s not just because this is my 2nd time around. She really is a calmer, more laid back child and a much better sleeper. (Although Caleb set the bar really low for sleeping through the night.) But no sooner than I finish my sentence, someone, a woman and mother none the less, utters those 3words. Just You. Wait. Did you hear that? Just you wait until . . . How about you wait!

Friday, July 17, 2015. This is How We Do It: Vacation! This post is part of a link-up my friends Lori. Are hosting. I'm a little late to the party, but you can view that link-up here. I am a bit of a homebody. I like to have fun as much as anyone, but I tend to enjoy staying close to home, doing things like swimming, visiting museums, and going on bike rides. I like having adventures within the confines of our own routines (e.g. I like to be home for naps and bedtime). Homebody, meet Adventurer. Our fami...

Diary of a New Mommy. Living. Learning. Sharing. Prayer: Not My Will {Whole Mama}. July 15, 2015. July 15, 2015. The birth of my son went nothing like planned. I mean nothing. In fact, everything I didn’t want is exactly what happened. On the day my son was born, 4 days after being admitted in the hospital, I was facing the possibility of a c-section. My mom said, “let’s pray”. I blurted out, “No! We keep praying and it’s not working”. Too often we treat prayer like a wish list and God is our Santa.
