From Axum To Here: Gotcha, Girl!
http://fromaxumtohere.blogspot.com/2013/08/gotcha-girl.html
From Axum To Here. Shenanigans and goings-on in our journey to adopt from Ethiopia. Saturday, August 10, 2013. Jet lag has been quite a hiccup to Reece's normally stellar sleeping. He's woken up at 1 am and 2 am on our first two nights overseas, so that's made for some tired mornings. Allyson was completely drained this morning after staying up with him from about 2 am onwards, all while fighting a cold. Suffice it to say that Christian gets tonight's shift! Joshua and Carrie Briggs. You only live once.

Ascribing Glory: sowing & reaping
http://zebandally.blogspot.com/2009/07/sowing-reaping.html
While helping the helpless. Friday, July 24, 2009. Our doctor visit on Monday was identical to the previous 5. We enter a room where a midwife or a doctor listens for a heartbeat. We hear the heartbeat, and then we go home. Sometimes we cry on the way, and sometimes we stop for donuts. And sometimes we do both. Several have asked, "the doctor said 2-4 weeks? So what's going on? Is there room for a miracle? Or "I've already asked for children, and look what happened! We read Psalm 126:5 the other night an...

baby faulkner: 48 hours with Deacon
http://babyfaulkner.blogspot.com/2007/05/48-hours-with-deacon.html
The baby is home and now the real fun begins! Friday, May 11, 2007. 48 hours with Deacon. After a little over 48 hours living with Deacon, here is what we have learned about him so far:. He is a laid-back, happy baby. He giggles more for Margo than me. He likes to put EVERYTHING in his mouth [place mats, our fingers, his hands, his feet, his toys, etc.]. He likes to kick his feet when he is having a good time. He likes to talk/make noise, but only cries when he wants to be held/fed/changed.

baby faulkner: Ethiopia, Day 1 - Travel
http://babyfaulkner.blogspot.com/2007/05/ethiopia-day-1-travel.html
The baby is home and now the real fun begins! Tuesday, May 08, 2007. Ethiopia, Day 1 - Travel. We made it, finally. It is currently about 10:30 pm in Addis Ababa, and we are getting ready to turn in. Tomorrow we meet our son! We'll be leaving to meet him at about 9:00 am. This was a long day. We left DFW around 11:30 am. Got to DC about 3 hours later. Then we killed some time while we waited for our flight to leave at 8:00 pm. Now all I have to remember is not to drink the water. I kept my mouth clos...

Ascribing Glory: Glory to God
http://zebandally.blogspot.com/2009/08/glory-to-god.html
While helping the helpless. Friday, August 14, 2009. Glory went home to be with her Lord this morning at 4:05. Allison is resting well at Baylor All Saints after about 10 hours of labor. She mentioned you all shortly after giving birth and wanted me to convey our thanks for what you have done for us. Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." Job 1:21. Zeb and Ally Pent. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
