Week 1 Leadership Project | techie time
https://lindaeilerblog.wordpress.com/2013/06/10/week-1-leadership-project
Week 1 Leadership Project. I’ll admit it; I was a bit freaked out when I heard about the Leadership Project. I have been trying to decide which opportunity I was less terrified of trying to get an article published or presenting at a conference. My initial reaction was I wonder if there is a third option. Has given me a newfound confidence and I’m not as intimidated about public speaking as I once was. So I’m taking that as a sign this is a good choice for me. The Art of Possibility →. Week 4 Leadership Role Model | techie time
https://lindaeilerblog.wordpress.com/2013/06/29/week-4-leadership-role-model
Week 4 Leadership Role Model. The person I admire for her leadership was Sally Allred. In high school was my Typing 2 teacher and I also had her for shorthand, which honestly I sucked at. She always encouraged me and used humor in her classroom. She wasn’t afraid to laugh at herself. She was always willing to stay and talk to students. My senior year I was her teacher’s aide. She was the first teacher who let me be in the mentor role. He makes a point to know all about our families and asks about them...

Wk 4: Reading: Be the Spark. My response to Wesley. I enjoyed reading this blog. I think you are right in your interpretation of being the spark. I agree with you about being the open to people so you can spread the spark is essential for being an effective educator. I believe you can reach all of your students. Sometimes it’s just hard to find the way but once you do, you can make a huge impact. Tags: Being the Spark. The Art of Possibility. Week 4 Leadership Role Model →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Week 3-Art of Possibility | techie time
https://lindaeilerblog.wordpress.com/2013/06/22/week-3-art-of-possibility
Week 3-Art of Possibility. I am really enjoying this book and I find myself referencing it when I talk to other people. Reading about Rule #6. Made me sit back and think a lot. This has been a crazy year for me personally and I think I have been a lot more serious then I usually am. Of course there are times when I have had to just laugh at myself. I think I need to print up a sign that says Rule #6 and put it up in my classroom. Week 2 Where do I want to share my project? June 25, 2013 at 3:14 am. Notif...

Wk 3 Leadership Hub. My project, Incorporating Effective Practices in Professional Development, is based on my research of Professional Development and Brain Based Learning Theory. At my school, the teachers were not using the Mimios in their classrooms. My proposed solution was to create video lessons and provide coaching to the participants. I would like to share my project at the Northwest Council for Computer Education (NCCE) in Seattle, Washington next spring. Week 1 Leadership Post. Create a free w...

Week 2 Where do I want to share my project? Last week I discovered that the proposal date for the conference I wanted to submit my proposal to was August 1. My first choice is the Northwest Council for Computer Education (NCCE) Conference. It will be held in Seattle, Washington next spring. This conference rotates between Seattle and Portland, Oregon. I attended several years ago when it was in Portland and I thought it was a great conference to get new ideas. Week 3-Art of Possibility →. June 23, 2013.
