Not gonna bore with the details of the bus ride, but I will tell you this; driving through the Alps to get to Italy is absolutely breath-taking! Glad you asked. If not for the smell of ripe sewage and the dirty hookers on the street, Malcontenta would have been okay. But then again, there's the issue of the hotel. Matter of fact, let's not rehash the memories. I have truly seen beauty.

Pretty damn good, especially when compared against Austria (gagging as I can recall the taste of the wiener schnitzel). The fish is fresh, the sauces are rich but not over the top, and the serve scrambled eggs at breakfast! One complaint though, the gelato here blows, with the exception of the after 8 flavor. So I'm happy to report that Friday night ushered in a revival of my spirits. Why?
