Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Don't get me wrong, canning isn't my favorite thing to do in the world. The endless peeling and cutting is tedious, and you use just about every pot and pan you own in the canning process. The floor and the countertops get sticky and messy. Even after you think you've wiped up all the mess and thoroughly cleaned the kitchen, you find sticky places that you missed. Processing the jars on a hot day didn't make the kitchen cool and comfortable. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, March 9, 2009. Mourn With Those That Mourn. I remember thinking that being together with family was like heaven- and that having meals and treats just brought to us all ready to eat was like heaven too! Their Relief Society really did take care of us. It makes me want to bring meals to people in need, because I know how big of a difference it can make. March 11, 2009 at 2:02 PM. thereisbeautyallaround: Thoughts for our Time
http://thereisbeautyallaround.blogspot.com/2009/06/thoughts-for-our-time.html
Friday, June 12, 2009. Thoughts for our Time. I love these quotes from the last General Conference. They are worth pondering and remembering. Elder Rafael E. Pino said:. When adversity arrives in our lives, the only true source of comfort is God.". Then he quoted Pres. Hunter:. Elder Richard G. Scott said:. Elder Boyd K. Packer said:. It may seem that the world is in commotion; and it is! It may seem that there are wars and rumors of wars; and there are! I do not fear.". I need to read them every day.
