Llama and Alpaca Organizations. This web page contains links to various organizations which may be of interest to llama and alpaca owners or prospective owners. We encourage those who are interested in learning more about these animals to communicate with these organizations. We joined several of these organizations before we acquired our first llamas and encourage anyone interested in learning about camelids to do the same. We have another web page of links to other websites.

Geoff and Lindsay Chandler. 766 Lapland Rd Waterville, Vt 05492. Northern Vermont Llama Co. With their wide eyes, elegant necks and luxurious fiber, llamas are regal but lovable animals. They are calm, easy to handle and magic with children. Domesticated for 5000 years in South American, llamas are specially suited to the harsh, Andean environment, so they are hardy, healthy and easy to care for. Llamas are used as pack animals, breeding stock, wool producers, guardian animals and beloved companions.

http://www.woolmakers.com/blogs/one-year-of-bliss-travel
One year of Bliss travels. One year ago, on the day before the 2013 Men’s Spring Knitting Retreat. Started, the Bliss spinning wheel that I was selected to receive had completed its journey across the Atlantic and arrived on my doorstep. It went with me to that retreat, and in the last year has been to knit/spin night with friends, guild meetings, and fiber festivals. It’s been to the annual GALA (Greater Appalachian Llama/Alpaca Association). Lars trying out Bliss. Get to know us better.
