All Hail the Motherland. Sunday, January 23, 2011. To start, there are some new food words I'd like to acknowledge:. Nata: whipped cream heaven. Lomo: loin (pork, beef, etc.). Gallego: style of cooking authentic to Spain. On Tuesday night, a group of us attempted to spend a casual night at a tapas bar that a lot of students go to called El Tigre. After wondering the streets around Grand Via, we found out that it was closed! So I had my first Sangria, and we just hung out till it was time to go home.
