http://fromoneswamptoanother.blogspot.com/2012/07/3rd-birthday-american-style-frenchies.html
From one swamp to another. Not so new to paris stay at home mom from florida. Thursday, July 5, 2012. 3rd Birthday American Style Frenchies = ;-). We were battling over whether to throw Little Man a 3rd birthday party or not. And if we did who would we invite (friends from the neighborhood, English speaking friends or family and close friends)? So the Frenchies it is. With a little help from Little Man we decided to throw a Robot Party ;-). Here are pics of our invites we handmade! Cookies - SOOOO GOOD!

From one swamp to another. Not so new to paris stay at home mom from florida. Monday, June 11, 2012. Bilingual - Language Development - Little Man. So I have never commented on Little Man's language skills. SorryI have been pretty busy lately ;-). I have read many times that bilingual kids are late talkers. But good news no issues here! The 2nd OFFICIAL word was "Mama' at 15 months followed by ' Papa' at 16 months. At 22 months he started to add Verbs! Casser (to break) and Cacher (to hide). Words he...

From one swamp to another. Not so new to paris stay at home mom from florida. Thursday, November 15, 2012. Little Miss Update September/October. September/October - 11 months. So where we left off. Little Miss had just started Halte de Garderie (which is a part time daycare - maximum at our school is 5 half days per week). She goes 2 mornings a week. After 2/3 weeks of slowly introducing her to the garderie she finally started to accept being there, taking naps and even having fun! American Mama in Paris...

sohcool: Morning fun
http://sohcool.blogspot.com/2015/07/morning-fun.html
Vendredi, juillet 31, 2015. When the boys wake up before me, sometimes they stay in their rooms to play. One morning, I found them in A2's room building. Here was a boat and an Elmo fire truck made by A1. Then, A2 told me his creation was either Eiffel Tower or a birthday cake. I was surprised he had the patience to build such a block. Libellés : the boys. Inscription à : Publier les commentaires (Atom). Singaporean living in Paris, France since 13 years. Constantly adapting to my life here.

Vendredi, septembre 19, 2014. In France, there are two period of sales. One summer sale and one winter sale. Each lasts about a few weeks. I tend to shop at the last week as there are real bargains. Of course, there is less choice and sizes left. Jeudi, septembre 18, 2014. Activties for this year. After two months of summer holiday, the start of the school term also means the start of after school activities. Karate started two weeks ago. The boys had fun. Samedi, janvier 31, 2015. Happy new year and Jeff Koons. Happy new year 2015. In France, we have until the end of January to wish everyone a happy new year. So let me take this 31 January 2015 to wish you readers a good year ahead. A month is almost over and I hope you are already enjoying this new year. Below, he used stainless steel to make these statues. They were so real that I would love to touch the inflated rabbit to make sure it was hard as steel. Vendredi, mai 22, 2015. We spent a few days in Munich over the long weekend. Thursday the 14 May was Ascension Day. The boys skipped half a day's school on wed as well as school on friday. We drove 900km to reach Munich which meant that Wed was spent in the car. Sunday's return trip was the same. Under the light rain, we walked towards a few different parks. The boys had fun playing at the various playgrounds. It was really "park-hopping". On the second floor were the BMW motorcycles. My boys tried o...

Mercredi, avril 29, 2015. In return, a neighbour gave me a brunch of lilac freshly cut from her trees. They smelled so good. One advantage of living in the country side is having free flowers. Spring is here and the forest is green once again. A really lovely sight. That is another advantage. Mardi, avril 21, 2015. The night before, I made Mickey and Minnie sugar cookies. They turned out better and tasted better than the Mickey birthday cake I made. A1 received many presents as usual. When mothers as...

Dimanche, juillet 27, 2014. We visited Arles during our week's stay in Ardeche. It took us an hour and. 10 mins to get from Montélimar to Arles as the boys wanted to take a train ride. We spent the day walking around the old town. As Van Gogh had painted a lot during his stay in Arles, we could see information boards showing us where he took his inspiration from. Below was just one information on the painting "Starry Night Over the Rhoneis". Mardi, juillet 01, 2014. In his first year, Handsome destroyed ...

Mardi, juin 10, 2014. Pentecoste - Why the French work this holiday for no pay. Yesterday was Pentecoste and I did not work. Ten years ago, the french government decided that we should work on a public holiday and gave up our salary of that day to help the aging population. The day chosen was Pentecoste which is always on a monday. I remembered the government saying that it was temporary and would only last a few years. Normally, my boys do not have school on wednesday. Tomorrow is an exception. ...We sp...

Memories of the Heart. Just another WordPress.com site. A Very Bad Day. This past Monday I blithely walked into a new vets office with my boy Baxter. I expected to be told that he needed to have his teeth cleaned or even maybe one or two pulled. Worst case scenario in my mind was that he had an abscess or something affecting his jaw. This is the picture that won him cutest rescue dog😉. However I left in tears with the news that we would not have Baxter much longer. A month or two later Steve took him in...

Vendredi, novembre 21, 2014. The pop up Jungle book. This pop-up Jungle book is AMAZING. I love the engineering of this pop up book. I have no idea paper can be so 3D. Just look at these pages. They are full of details. I love this book. We still have a few weeks to Christmas. Maybe I will just change my mind and present it to the boys on Christmas. I am sharing about this book because it is an ideal Christmas present for children. Inscription à : Articles (Atom). Afficher mon profil complet.
