Amanda Brannon's Art Blog: My Tools
http://amandabrannon.blogspot.com/p/my-tools.html
Lifelong Love of Birds. Art and Design Resumé. I've had a love affair with this medium from the moment I engraved my first illustration on it. I've tried the plain, white Scratchbord and inked it myself, but I prefer the smooth, pre-inked surface of the Scratchbord Black. The Scratchbord tool kit. I recommend scanning your original and printing it onto watercolor paper or another thick paper and practice on that. That would also allow you to do limited-edition, hand-painted, semi-originals.

A Blog About Portraits. Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Donna in the Bakery: Homer, Alaska. This is Donna. In 1982 she founded the Fresh Sourdough Express,. A fine bakery in Homer Alaska. To do so, she had to drive a van and trailer from Washington state, up through Canada, to parts unknown in the distant north. The vehicle was a mobile bakery, a bread-slinging wagon that paid her way along the Alcan Highway. The two photos on this page were shot using one of my favorite (and affordable! The next day, look...

Lifelong Love of Birds. Art and Design Resumé. My (not so) Dark Secret. Either way, it didn't matter because I HAD to do something with all that rhubarb. Really—that's how it all started. Lifelong Love of Birds. Art and Design Resumé. Saturday, January 31, 2015. Tomorrow is February 1st and the beginning of a month of hearts and flowers! I just love Valentine's Day. I used to not always embrace it as I do, now. In my earlier years, I would have a lot of anxiety around it—hoping someone would show me I was worthy to receive that heart-shaped box of candy or a bouquet of flowers. Blessings and love to you. Valentine's Tea Party 2010. View my complete profile. An Oldie but Goodie.
