Feb 15, 2013. Blue Mountains, NSW. Lately I have been collecting adventures. It's a lot like collecting stamps or buttons, only perhaps a little more interesting to general society. My latest adventure was a visit to the Blue Mountains - the perfect place to find that important sense of perspective that we all occasionally lose. Echo Point, Katoomba. Three Sisters, Katoomba. Colours & Things: January 2013
http://coloursandthings.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Jan 14, 2013. So it's 2013, the world didn't end, and my long-lost little blog begins the year with a new name, a new face, and a new-found confidence. A lot of people don't care much for new years resolutions - many stress that if a change is needed, why not start right away? Why instead delude ourselves into thinking that the house will be far easier to clean, and that the gym membership will be far more useful, if we wait until the first of January? Manning Valley, NSW. Great Lakes, NSW. 3 I will crea...

la mujer maravilla: CORSET VICTORIANO
http://wonderwomanlamujermaravilla.blogspot.com/2014/04/corset-victoriano.html

A Possibly Perfect Refashion. Sep 6, 2013. Days are getting warmer, which means its getting easier to photograph my recent projects! It would be easier still if my sewing ever followed any kind of seasonal pattern, but what can you do. At least theres no incentive to rush when youre working on something that will be unwearable for the next two months :P. For me, that something was this dress:. Ignore the awkward sour face - it really is comfy! I realise you cant see this in the photo, but it really was!

Notches and Notions: Ultimate Wrap Dress v's Gapey Neck
http://notchesandnotions.blogspot.com/2015/02/ultimate-wrap-dress-vs-gapey-neck.html
Sunday, 15 February 2015. Ultimate Wrap Dress v's Gapey Neck. I have absolutely no joy with sewing dresses for myself. http://notchesandnotions.blogspot.com/2015/01/nettie-bodysuit.html
Saturday, 17 January 2015. I made a couple of Nettie. Bodysuits back in summer. Such a sweet sweet pattern. Variations of necklines and sleeve lengths included. Here are my versions. The only alteration I made was to lengthen by my usual 3 inches, being a tall lady an'all! Love this low back. I made it mostly using my overlocker. Flip it round.short sleeves, low neck and high back. Missed that bit of hair, damn it! The fabric was an ex-M&S bolt, super stretchy! 18 January 2015 at 02:11. Archer II and III.

Making stuff. Because it's cheaper than therapy. Close-minded blogs foster close-minded opinions. The online gathering of like-minded types isn’t inherently bad; in fact, it can be a beautiful thing. Sometimes, we all need a chance to bitch and moan to someone who “gets” us, and forums and blogs give people with common interests a place to share their ideas. What’s problematic is when those communities foster a narrowing of one’s perception. National Journal Spotlights Choice Neighborhoods. After years o...
