Saturday, May 30, 2009. San Diego Trip Report - Day 2. I had the peanut butter and banana stuffed French toast and David had tamales with eggs and potatoes. Obviously, my head and stomach were feeling better. With sweet-potato plantain mash. Saturday, August 29, 2009. David spent the day in Wichita Falls at a bike race called the Hotter 'N Hell 100. In my opinion, riding 100 miles on a bike is crazy, but anyone who does it at the end of August in Texas must be crazier than hell. He lucked out, though, because the temperatures were actually pleasant here - around 90 degrees with low humidity. It could be much, much worse.
