Gone Fishin' will return at dark:30

Gone Fishin' will return at dark:30. Sunday, June 9, 2013. Hit Pineview with Rick. We had to search a little harder this time for the perch, but when we finally found them it was FISH ON! Small but tasty perch fillets. Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Arrived to a foggy morning at Pineview. Bruce quickly punched six to eight holes, but the fishing was so fast we never left the first holes we let our lines down. We each had our fifty fish limits on the ice within a couple of hours. Gone Fishin' will return at dark:30: November 2012

http://www.flyinbriansblog.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html

Gone Fishin' will return at dark:30. Sunday, November 18, 2012. I made a run up to Chesterfield for the first time since I fished it last spring, and it did not disipoint me, as you will see in the pictures below. I went by myself. The pictures were taken using the the timer on the camera that was mounted to the frame of the boat. This is looking west, but the sunrise colored the sky from east to west. What this fish lacked in length, it made up for in girth. Sunday, November 11, 2012. It's on the Fly.

Gone Fishin' will return at dark:30. Wednesday, March 6, 2013. I can't believe it's going on five months since I blogged last. Sam and I made a run to the Henry's Fork last November in hopes of catching some big pre-spawn Browns on streamers. We caught a fair number of trout, mostly Rainbows, but no huge Browns. We arrived to a nice crisp fall morning. Sam didn't waste any time getting down to the water. After the shadows retreated off the water, it started warming up. First Brown of the day.

Gone Fishin' will return at dark:30. Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Arrived to a foggy morning at Pineview. Bruce quickly punched six to eight holes, but the fishing was so fast we never left the first holes we let our lines down. We each had our fifty fish limits on the ice within a couple of hours. Several times we brought up our lines to find a perch on each hook. The perch were not huge, but they made a tasty meal. It definitely took longer to fillet them then it did to catch them. Every Unique Visitor Hit.

Brian and Linda: Day at Sea, Day-8

http://brilin77.blogspot.com/2012/11/day-at-sea-day-8.html

Sunday, November 4, 2012. Day at Sea, Day-8. Royal Carribean, Adventure of the Seas. Our last day on the cruise was spent at sea. We watched the belly flop contest, which our tour guides son won! We spent some time relaxing on the deck. Enjoying the warm sun, and such a beautiful sky and ocean. Brian walked around the ship, checking out all the games available. The ice rink, where we watched an ice show. Browsing the art for sale. The fuit was so yummy! We're lucky he didn't fine us. Flower of the week.

Monday, January 23, 2012. Capernaum is located on the north shore of the Sea of Galilee and was the center of Jesus' Galilean ministry. The Savior lived here and Capernaum is called "his city". It was an important fishing and commercial center. Jesus worked many miracles at the site, he healed many people, including the centurion's servant. Me, standing outside the synagogue where Jesus delivered his Bread of Life sermon (John 6:24-59). Here Jesus also cast out many evil spirits. These are pictures of th...

Brian and Linda: Barbados Day-7 Afternoon

http://brilin77.blogspot.com/2012/09/barbados-day-7-afternoon.html

Sunday, September 23, 2012. In the afternoon, we went to the Barbados Wildlife Reserve. I was excited to see some monkeys, but wasn't sure if we would, the first thing we came across was turtles. The Reserve is a beautiful place, lots of tress and paths to wander around on. Brian and I went the opposite way of everyone else, so we could get pictures without everyone being in them. We saw a lot of turtles, even with Brian teasing him, he just kept walking. It was fun when the peacock showed off his tail!

Saturday, February 11, 2012. San Juan, Puerto Rico Day-1. This is the beginning of our ten day Southern Caribbean cruise. Time exposure of Linda, it made the fish look long. This was the last time we wore long pants and long sleeved shirts, until the day we flew home (except when in the ship dinning room). Part of an old fort. Friday, February 10, 2012. The grandkids all love "Papa". I am also thankful for the wonderful father he has been and continues to be to our four beautiful daughters. I would do it...

Thursday, November 3, 2011. When Brian and I decided to go to San Francisco, I wanted to go to Muir Woods, I love the Redwoods and last time we were here it was too crowded. The trees, the ferns, flowers, nature I guess all combine to such a sweet peace. We enjoyed hiking through the trees, enjoying everything around us. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, February 26, 2012. We had to head out early this morning for our excursion, so we ordered room service breakfast and ate it on our balcony. The ship had not yet docked, so we watched Antigua as we headed to port. It was a beautiful morning, last night the weather forecast was for rain, so I had been a little worried, but it promises to be another fine day in Paradise! Enjoyed a little breakfast, and a great view from our balcony. The plan today, is kayaking, snorkeling and hiking! Then we had to ...

Sunday, March 18, 2012. St Lucia Day-6 Afternoon. While we were waiting for the rest of the group to come back to the jeep, Brian spotted some flowers across the road. I jumped out to take some pics and found this garden. Wish I had more time to wander through it. The flowers were so varied and pretty. I don't know the names of any of them, but I love all the colors and shapes. I think this is some kind of orchid. Talk about a guy who loves fish! View of the Pitons from the dock. Brian taking it easy.

Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Merry Christmas from Bethlehem - Church of the Nativity. Merry Christmas- we were in Bethlehem in March. But in lieu of a Christmas Card- we are doing this. Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. The courtyard of the nativity is where people gather on Christmas Eve to sing Christmas carols, the small door in the background is the entrance, called the "Entry of Humility". Our tour group entering. We had only a few moments down in the grotto, but are so glad we got the chance to s...

Friday, November 25, 2011. Fishing at Galveston State Park. Here come the men loaded with all the equipment for a day of fshing. It was a beautiful morning after the storm, but when the guys bought bait, the salesgirl told them it was too soon after the storm for good fishing. She said, you must be from out of town! Setting up the rod holders. Alan purchased a bait catching net. Yep, caught a little fish. Brian, enjoying the squid they used for bait (just kidding). Brad with the first catch of the day!

Sunday, March 11, 2012. St Lucia Day-6 Morning. Sailing into St Lucia, everyday brings something new and exciting to do! We are docking in Castries. This little island is so picturesque. I love all the colors of the houses. This is totally paradise, I love all the trees, the green and of course, the beautiful blue ocean! Today we will explore the St Lucian coast on our way to Sourfriere, detouring through small country villages, along the outskirts of the rainforest by open air jeeps. Can't wait! Standin...

Friday, February 27, 2015. So why all the fuss about drones? This would arguably be a better approach than passively standing by and reacting to a mishap by imposing regulations after the first accident occurs. Those against regulation argue that more red tape from the FAA will kill innovation and creativity. Since there are so many possible governmental, commercial, and recreational uses for these aerial vehicles, they contend that more regulation isn't necessarily a good thing. As I have continued to d...

The way forward in science. But science would cease to be science if too much speculation were left unquestioned for too long, So a leap forward is only complete when it passes muster in the peer-reviewed world of science. So where does the scientific method need help? 3) Big science can bend to political pressures&...
