February 5, 2014. Italian Turkey Loaf Burger. We were following a partially paleo diet. For sometime in our quest for healthy eating habits. As long as I got to make and taste new and exciting food, my enthusiasm quotient is unlimited. It is especially high when I am the sous-chef for the evening and hubby is taking lead in the kitchen ;)! On one such rare evening which also was our first Paleo dinner, we tried making this loafless burger; very simple homemade tasty healthy stuff! 3 teaspoons tomato puree.

December 26, 2013. Traditional Fruit and Nut Cake. The credit for this cake recipe goes to The Duffadars! Fruit and nut Cake. Prep Time : 20mins. Baking Time : 35 mins. 125 g butter ( 1 and 1/4 sticks). 1 tsp vanilla essence. 3/4 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp cardamom powder. 1 cup nuts etc ( cherries, raisins and cashews; I added crumbled pethas. I got from my recent India visit). Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix butter, sugar and eggs using a hand blender. Bake for 35 mins. Serve warm with icecream!

Tuesday, January 24, 2017. One of my new year's resolutions is to embrace minimalism. And then literally knock over a tower of 15 books teetering on a chair so I could sit down. I would sit in our meeting silently in horror, stealing glances at the 15 books now flung all over the floor. The following are some concrete steps I'm taking to to pursue minimalism.
