Sunshine? Paradise?: Equator and Maldives
http://sunshineparadiseplease.blogspot.com/2015/08/equator-and-maldives.html
Friday, August 7, 2015. Thank you so much for reading my last post and commenting. I was surprised that anybody still had my blog in their feed. After the crappy weather, lots of sunshine and warmth. A cocktail (or two) of course. A souvenir from crossing the equator. Returned to the Maldives, a lot has changed since I was last there in 1987. The water is still beautiful though. August 7, 2015 at 2:43 PM. August 7, 2015 at 2:47 PM. Oh I want to go there! August 7, 2015 at 5:04 PM. What a beautiful trip.

Meandering Quilt Thoughts: August 2015
http://quiltygirl1981.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2015. Need a Bigger House for my Hobbies! It's still pretty dang hot around here, but I am holding out hope for some coolness in the (hopefully) near future, as tomorrow is September! Yay, birthday month! My friend gave me a hand quilting frame this week, I already have a regular old-fashioned one, but this is a fancy roll up, tilt-y one. I brought it home and it's bigger than I expected and I don't know if I can find anywhere to keep it! These two little monkeys were playing quietly u...

QUILTING FOREVER HOUSEWORK WHENEVER. Sunday, February 17, 2013. Was a really busy weekend we had a get together on Saturday at Shays. There was lots of laughter, chatter and of course chocolate. Brought show and tell, her Antique Quilts that were a recent purchase on her trip to the USA. They were brought at Huston. First up was a 1920's Pickle Dish. Her second quilt was a Feathered Star. Denise and I decided to try it out. Again stunning hand quilting. Go to her blog. For the full story. Ive been thinkin...

shoebox full of possibility | April Sewing Journal
https://aprilsewingjournal.wordpress.com/2015/03/15/shoebox-full-of-possibility
Shoebox full of possibility. Here is my newest quilt – a shoebox full of various sized red and pink squares. It leans a little too much toward primary red. I intend to put green frames around the blocks, but not Christmas, so I need to add some more pink. I have an idea of wonky pieced squares floating in green with a wonky bright pink square and then green again. In any case, more to come…. On March 15, 2015 at 1:23 pm Leave a Comment. Meandering Quilt Thoughts: Busy Life
http://quiltygirl1981.blogspot.com/2015/02/busy-life.html
Friday, February 20, 2015. Christmas was great, but a little quiet compared to last Christmas since we were missing 2 kids this year. I've been to several states over the past couple of months for a wedding, baptism and a move. I made this quilt for my new bedroom, to drape over the old chair in the corner, flannel on the back - perfect size and very cozy:. Here is the quilt I made for the baptism boy - soft minky on the back:. PS We welcomed the 9th grand baby on Christmas Eve - she is darling!

not so new skirt plus bonus | April Sewing Journal
https://aprilsewingjournal.wordpress.com/2013/10/13/not-so-new-skirt-plus-bonus
Not so new skirt plus bonus. I looked back and I never posted this skirt. I bought the fabric for a birthday present. I spent a lot of time on it because of the plaid. I sewed it, then ripped it out completely and then hand basted it together to get the plaid to match, well not exactly, but close enough. On October 13, 2013 at 8:23 am Comments (1). Lucy's World Trip: June 2011
http://lucyrabbit.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Lucy Rabbit's photos and diary of her World Blog Tour 2011/2012. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Lucy must be having a good time with Mrs P. In Adelaide, she is probably spending a lot of time in her Pyjamas so not much different from home really :-). She has sent me a lovely postcard to say how much fun she is having and also a beautiful little suitcase full of chocolates. I've also been told she had been a bit naughty! She had better start behaving herself or I might have to cut her holiday short! Now Lucy i...

Meandering Quilt Thoughts: Christmas Dolly Quilts
http://quiltygirl1981.blogspot.com/2014/12/christmas-dolly-quilts.html
Tuesday, December 16, 2014. I have 5 granddaughters and for Christmas this year, I made them each a "Dolly Quilt" out of scraps. For the modified "drunkard's path", I used the amazing "Quilt Smart", a fusible interfacing, you cut most of it out, so it's not too stiff, and it's easy peasy, lemon squeezy! I also made this pretty quilt for my beautiful sister, Heidi, out of a jelly roll and some white fabric. For her birthday. Hope your holidays are merry! My Huge Quilt Studio! QUILTYGAL: Favourite Thing Friday
http://quiltygal.blogspot.com/2013/01/favourite-thing-friday.html
QUILTING FOREVER HOUSEWORK WHENEVER. Friday, January 11, 2013. So finally managed to get Blogger to co-operate so I can make this actually on Friday . Linking up with the lovely and I may say extremely humerous Shay over at Quilting in my pajamas. My Favourite thing this week is a new POM.Pattern of the month. I had decided that this year,as every year really,I was going to finish all the half done things languishing in my sewing room so of course when I saw The Sugar Block Club. I love the idea of BOM&#...
