Jeneric Travels: AVERY'S 2nd BIRTHDAY
http://jennerictravels.blogspot.com/2013/08/averys-2nd-birthday.html
Thursday, August 15, 2013. I decided to post pictures of Avery's party on this blog since I didn't know where else to do it. I figured this is just as good of a place as any. I decided on an ice cream theme since the girl loves ice cream. It's hot and it's summer so it seemed the perfect fit! And tried to do as much DIY as possible. I always think I save money but in the end I think I end up spending more. Most of my inspiration came from Pinterest (what did we do with out this great invention? And what ...

Jeneric Travels: February 2010
http://jennerictravels.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 18, 2010. We Will Miss You. I will always remember you as the charming, caring, funny, gentle man that would take us swimming and make us sherbet floats. I will cherish the many summers I was able to spend with you and for the little adventures you would take me on. You brought love and comfort to us and filled us with humor and taught us about selflessness. You are an example to us all. I will miss you grandpa but we will meet again. Links to this post. Jeneric Travels: July 2010
http://jennerictravels.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 6, 2010. A Day Out in London. So I had to get out and do something fun since I didn't have to work on a Saturday. I decided to go to London since the train tickets are a lot cheeper to go there then anywhere else - really. We had our breakfast at this lovely park with all of these strangers and mapped out our path of destruction. For those who like to know what we eat (mom) we had pan au chocolate (my fav) a banana and strawberry milk. Yum! Ya, we're healthy like that.). We still had some t...

Jeneric Travels: November 2010
http://jennerictravels.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 22, 2010. Today isn't the greatest of days. I felt it coming. There were just too many great days that had been these past few months and I knew it couldn't keep going on. Many emotional roller coasters have been had while experiencing life here in England. But, I guess then when there are good days, they are really good days! And when they're bad I can look back on the good days and know that these 'bad' days won't last forever. It's what keeps me going. I am thankful for my mothers and...

Jeneric Travels: March 2010
http://jennerictravels.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 25, 2010. You might say we like this place. We've been every week for the past three weeks. The atmosphere is paltry and really needs some help but makes up for its lack of class with their delicious curry and naan. Since Eric's new passion is curry I tried to put together a little birthday dinner in his honour. Tried" in meaning - Eric didn't invite anyone until the last minute. But for those that were able to come we had great fun and still full two days later! Links to this post. Littl...

Jeneric Travels: October 2010

Thursday, October 21, 2010. An Apple A Day. Fall is definitely here. The seagulls have stopped squealing, the tourists have dissipated, the leaves are changing and the air is much cooler. It's the time for cozy sweaters, warm soups and snuggles under the blanket. It's also time for apples! I heard about this apple festival from the girls at work. It sounded like fun so we journeyed through the country about an hour to Middle Farm. It is all things apple here. They grow 'em big here. And it was gooooood.

Jeneric Travels: May 2010

Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Amsterdam was a pretty cool place to see. After talking with other friends I think we were probably the only ones our age who actually saw the city rather than getting high off the ' baked. Here is Eric attempting to climb the 'd'. Um Okay. Now how do I get back down? After working up that appetite he needed a snack. Amsterdam is known for the pickled herring sandwiches which for some reason sounded really good to Eric. They became our mascots for the rest of the trip. We toured th...

Jeneric Travels: December 2010

Wednesday, December 29, 2010. From Ronchamp to Vals:. The indulgent ramblings of a truly spoiled wannabe architect. You can follow our swiss trek by checking out this sweet map I made with my killer cartography skills, I think you'll agree that I drew some wicked good international borders. Chapelle Notre-Dame-du-Haut de Ronchamp. Ronchamp, France. The classic money shot. It looks a bit like a smurf hut, if smurfs were world class architectural masters. Well done Corbu. Here I am looking quite the goof i...

Jeneric Travels: September 2010
http://jennerictravels.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 21, 2010. We couldn't pass up another lovely Saturday and not do anything. We joined our friends Claudia and Kevin and spent the day having a grand time. The Pope was in town and it was crowed. The line to the tube went all the way into Victoria Station. Forget that. So, we decided to enjoy the sunshine and walk. Oh, this city is fantastic. Some hate the building but I really like it. It is designed by Richard Rogers and completed in 1986. And it gets better! We stumbled upon Muji!
