After Lisa, Kathy, and Luke returned from Lalibela, we spent an evening in Addis and then all headed down to Lake Langano early the next morning. Luke rented a Suzuki Vittaro for the trip (much to Bluebell’s relief). It took us nearly an hour just to get out of Addis! We spent the evening wading in Lake Langano (which is clean and parasite-free due to volcanic minerals) and relaxing.

Friday, November 13, 2009. The Little Smarty Pants. This morning we were going through Ty's normal 1,000 questions of what we are doing today, tonight, tomorrow and if today is karate. He starts asking this list of questions first thing in the morning. As soon as I step into the kitchen, mind you. It's just one of those daily opportunities that a mom gets to practice patience!
