Saturday, March 14, 2015. We headed down to Austin for Spring Break this year! We decided to get in some good family time and let the kiddos hangout with their cousins. On the way, I had to stop at Magnolia because I am slightly obsessed with their show. And stopped at a rest stop for some wiggle time. Can I just say that Texas hits it out of the park with their rest stops? Then we got into Austin and hung out with cousins and did a few things around town! It was quick, but fun! Thursday, March 5, 2015. We have had a CRAZY amount of snow around here by Texas standards. Spring break is next week and we just had 4 inches of beautiful, fluffy snow dumped on us. Not typical, but, really fun! Here are some pics of our rare romp in the snow. First things first, the kids decided to get dressed for the snow themselves and come down stairs acting like zombies. Surprisingly normal around here. Then we made our first real snowman and had a legit snowball fight! For a Good Cause Click!

Sunday, March 8, 2015. We were finally able to celebrate this sweet boy properly! Last year he was so sick from chemo and then got the stomach flu and ended up in the hospital on his birthday. Talk about kicking the poor kid when he's down. BUT, this year we were able to celbrate and party with him from sun up to sun down! The Glass is Half Full. A blog where only optimism rules! Monday, September 27, 2010. Time to look for some cowboy boots. We went to Tennessee this last week so Chris could interview for a job there. It went very well. Great people and a great opportunity :). It was in Middle Tennessee outside of Nashville. Lots of rolling Hills and beautiful trees. So green and so peaceful. Best traveler so far was Wyatt though. Did not cry at all, on either flight. We loved the Mellow Mushroom! Here are some pics.

This had to be added.On Addie's actual birthday (July 8), this was her "smash cake", her tutu, her crown and her darling backdrop that her talented mom whipped up for the special occasion. She was pretty pleased with all of the attention:). We had a yummy Blizzard S'mores ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. Christine's first choice is never "real" cake, so she chose this. It was wonderful! And a change in desserts is always good. Addie and Christine helped each other open their gifts.
