AUBREY: June 2009
http://aubreyann128.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 26, 2009. Finally my post for Jordan is ready! The past few days have been crazy because we have all been studying for finals, but I finally got it done. We visited Petra, Jarash, the Jordan River, a crusader castle, Amman and saw some amazing things! The people were great and I loved the cities that we stayed in. I didn't quite know what to expect on this trip because I didn't know very much about Jordan previous to going there, but now I am a huge fan and would love to go back. This past S...

AUBREY: April 2009
http://aubreyann128.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2009. First Day in the City. This is a picture of the outside of our room. The rooms are open to the outside and all have a patio that looks out over the city. Today we took a quick tour of Jerusalem and it got me so excited! We only had time to orient ourselves and get used to our surroundings a little so we didn't really go into depth on anything, but I can't wait to learn more. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. I am in JERUSALEM! This is one view of the Old city from the Jerusalem Center.

AUBREY: Herodian Field Trip
http://aubreyann128.blogspot.com/2009/07/herodian-field-trip.html
Saturday, July 11, 2009. This Thursday we went down to the Jewish Quarter of the Old City and took a tour of the Herodian remains of the city. It was really interesting to actually see and visualize how the temple mount looked during the time of Christ. This is a model of the temple mount during Herod's time. This is another model of the temple mount and city. Southwestern corner of the temple mount. July 13, 2009 at 12:41 PM. The red sea looks like a blast. Mom said you are so sun burnt! I sure love you.

AUBREY: July 2009

Saturday, July 11, 2009. Sorry that my blog posts have been getting farther and farther apart, but we have been in Galilee for the past 10 days and I am still trying to catch up on things before we left. Anyways, about 2-3 weeks ago we had a "Night at the Oscars" where we all had a chance to display our movie making abilities. I personally was able to contribute to quite a few of the movies and it was great to see it all come together and to see the creativity displayed by others as well. After snorkelin...

AUBREY: May 2009
http://aubreyann128.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 31, 2009. This is just a random video I took of one of the old city streets while I was waiting for the other people in my group to finish shopping. Saturday, May 30, 2009. Dome of the Rock, Old City, Shopping, West Jerusalem, and Shavuot. Market street in West Jerusalem. This was the first American-like meal that I have had in a long time and I loved it! Coke and a subway sandwich! This is a bakery in the market street in West Jerusalem. Two cookies for a shekel (about 25 cents)! We don't ha...

AUBREY: August 2009
http://aubreyann128.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 24, 2009. Once again I apologize for my lack of blogs towards the end of my time in the Holy Land. I have finally gotten to my post about Galilee after being home for a week! Our first stop was Caesarea Maritime on the coast of the Mediterranean. The Church of the Anunciation in Nazareth. This is a sign we saw in Nazareth. Apparently we are all losers. This is the boat we rode across the Sea of Galilee on. 2,000 year old fishing boat found in the Sea of Galilee. Everybody act like Jonah!

AUBREY: Blogger Block
http://aubreyann128.blogspot.com/2009/08/blogger-block.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2009. I just want to apologize for not updating my blog. After we got back from Galilee, the internet seemed to have took a turn for the worse and so I haven't been able to upload pictures. Still, no excuse for not writing anything. These past few weeks I have just been trying to soak up every second that I have left here in Jerusalem. Now we are down to one week left! And took exfoliating mud baths which left our skin feeling nice and smooth. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

AUBREY: Red Sea and Bethlehem
http://aubreyann128.blogspot.com/2009/07/red-sea-and-bethlehem.html
Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Red Sea and Bethlehem. First of all I apologize for not blogging the past few weeks. I have been kind of busy, but not too bad so I have no good excuse. Anyways, about a week ago most of our group headed down to the Red Sea on our free day to go snorkeling. I have never been snorkeling before and it was so much fun! We had about a 4 hour bus ride down to the Red Sea and the AC on our bus was broken so this is our "look how you feel" pic for the ride down. Dan, Me and Amy.
