Saturday, June 2, 2012. A Finished Art Project! What a cool art project. The student really enjoyed making this and its poster board shaped into a letter. The assignment was to create your initials there are three, first, middle and last initials of the students name. A very fun and creative project. Paper mache' paint and texture made up this project. Sunday, April 17, 2011. Our after school Sign Club got invited to help at Sharp Creek Elementary. We helped teach a group of students how to sign "Thank you for your service". Sunday, May 1, 2011. Busy Time in April. 65279;. Northfield Sign Club was busy in April! Getting signatures for the petition CC in movie theaters. We are celebrating National Deaf Month by making a baner to honor this year. We had history blurbs about Deaf culture read during morning announcements. Sunday, May 6, 2012. Always Fun Art Projects. A really fun project that started with Zentangling on paper. Then with the art work of Zentangling (see picture below) the students made copies of their art and turned it into a sculpture! The students guide lines were, the project was to stand with only 3 legs and have plenty of negative space. The project turned out amazing! Here is the project of the student I work with! Sunday, April 29, 2012. It's been a long time since I have been in 7th grade Science, let alone interpret for it. A lot of finger spelling going on here. But the labs are very interesting and getting to apply what is being taught helps with the understanding of it all. We are working on speed ,time and distance. Fun, fun fun! X(f)-X(i)= d d/t = v. Tuesday, August 3, 2010. The clash of Medieval Time. Castle of Medieval Times. Scenes from the boat. Went with the kids of Manchester to Chicago.Preped my student with visuals and learning the schedule of the day ahead of time.That made for a great Trip that started at 6am and lasted until 1:30 am the next day. Monday, August 2, 2010. During the 2009-2010 School year I was able to attend the SEE Signing seminar. I learned so much! It has been awhile since I have been on the blogsite.

Friday, June 15, 2012. I have all my PGP points now and am certified until 2014, What a great feeling! Time to get started on the next PGP points. I just attended the Indiana Deaf Educators and Educational Interpreters Conference. I took all skill classes and felt empowered to continue to work on my skills! Monday, November 15, 2010. Today we played Thanksgiving Bingo. The students enjoyed breaking up into groups and playing the game to help them remember the signs.
