Already in Our Hearts, Someday in Our Arms. Thursday, January 30, 2014. It's on its way! Finally all of our paperwork is on its way to our girls' birth country! Most has been there for two months waiting for our USCIS approval and that finally came last Friday. Hooray! This is what I kept looking at for days, braving the freezing cold to check and see if the approval was here. And it didn't come.and didn't come.and didn't come. Finally on Friday our "golden ticket" arrived! And time in front of this.

Already in Our Hearts, Someday in Our Arms: September 2013
http://ourjourneytothegirls.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Already in Our Hearts, Someday in Our Arms. Wednesday, September 18, 2013. We saw their faces almost five weeks ago. Two sweet sisters living in an eastern European orphanage. One with pigtails, and one handing a dandelion to the photographer. Beautiful blue eyes. Two treasures whose profiles have a lot of "does not/can not"s. But to us, two girls fearfully and wonderfully made, made in His image. But how thankful we are to live in a time when we can educate ourselves and through what we learn, help our ...

Already in Our Hearts, Someday in Our Arms. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. They are worth being loved like crazy. Bill and I are so thankful that we attended the Empowered to Connect conference with Dr. Karyn Purvis. I guess you could say we are groupies! Our church's orphan ministry has all of her teaching materials, and we now see just how important it was to spend time reading and studying before we added the girls to our family. The Connected Child. She LOVES the water in any form! And they love pancakes!

Already in Our Hearts, Someday in Our Arms: December 2013
http://ourjourneytothegirls.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Already in Our Hearts, Someday in Our Arms. Wednesday, December 25, 2013. We have learned that the adoption process involves a lot of waiting (and praying during that wait). We continue to wait for the letter with the I-800a approval. Have they heard about the amazing gift God gave us in Christ and the reason for Christmas celebration? Do they have any idea of the story of Jesus' birth? Do they have anything special happen at the orphanage to celebrate Christ's birth? At church yesterday, we ended up in ...
