Sunday, March 24, 2013. So spring has sprung - or so they say, at least I'd like to hope that's true, but I live in Reno, and am sure to see a bit more cool weather before spring is here to stay. But, I'll enjoy having the windows open while I can. Tonight I'm going to cook out for the first time this season - I have a tri-tip marinating as we speak. Yum! First of all, my recipe cards for the Crock Pot Recipe swap over at Crop Chocolate. Today I also made Easter baskets for 2 of my favorite young ladies.

Sunday, August 26, 2012. Looking Forward to Labor Day. I have been working on a few crafty things the past few weeks, the first thing is, I finished a cross-stitch picture for a dear friend, he requested a night winter scene quite a few years ago, I finally found the right scene and after a year.it's finished. With a simple frame and white (stickled) mat, I think it turned out really well. For my favorite dancer Alyssa. Today I created a birthday card for my honorary niece Alexis, who's birthday is today.
