Saturday, February 17, 2007. The Day I Lost Faith in our Medical System. It was last Tuesday, the day I went in for a routine check-up so I could get two prescriptions refilled. I told the doctor that I had tapered off and then discontinued taking a third. Medication. I told him of some of the side effects I was experience. He proceeded to discount every side effect as unrelated to the medication withdrawal. For example, he blamed the dizziness. Performed. The test result? Begin taking the medication.

It was not out of my desire to have one, but rather out of my parents constant pleading for me to get one (i think they're worried). I didn't want a cell phone for several reasons. Tuesday, August 30, 2005. Only once in my life have I felt that I may literally die from laughter. A few years ago I was watching Heaven's Burning. Starring Russel Crowe, with my brother and future sister-in-law. Heaven's Burning is an Australian crime drama. The production values were lousy, and in one scene, the shadow from the boom of a microphone moves right across the scene (it's clear that the shadow is a pole with a microphone at the end).
