We focus on ground work so that your horse is relaxed through out the entire training process. Our training has had a positive effect on nearly every horse we have worked with, including creating a happier, healthier horse who is able to trust it's handlers. At Double Star Ranch, we are able to work through issues your horse may have, start or restart your horse, or just give them miles, we can even train your horse to drive*! Tack must be supplied for horses in training for driving.

Vicki grew up on a farm in BC and started riding at 8 years old. She did 4-H and Pony Club, before showing her horse in Paint and Pinto Shows until her family moved to England. Once she returned to BC, Vicki started working as a wrangler, taking guests on trail rides. Vicki is our main trainer and runs the day to day operations. Hubert's vast experience includes the training of his own horse for mounted shooting competitions - where he was quite successful with his horse, Lakota - and demonstrations, dri...

When we find one of our own horses would be better suited in a different home, we will work to find them that home. Have a look at the horses we currently have listed for sale, double check on facebook. That there isn't any others also for sale, follow along and you can be kept up to date on any of the horse's training progress. Either click on the horse's name in the sub-menu above or their picture to find out more about each horse.

We currently only have Pasture Board available but, we will be working on getting some paddocks put in place to be able to offer Paddock Board. The horses living at Double Star Ranch are treated like family. We work hard to maintain high quality of care to every horse. Included in pasture board:. Use of on property facilities. Co-op Board is available, please contact us for details. Done in barefoot style and on a as needed basis, usually every 5 weeks. Grooming. $10 per session.
