The Marlow Family: April 2011
http://themarlowfamilykc.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Here are the boys waiting for the countdown to go and find their eggs. Cadynce already has his hand on one! Beckym was all about it this year. Beckym with a full basket. Cadynce found one of the last eggs. Stopping to eat some candy. One of the last eggs that they couldn't find right away. Cadynce ended finding it before anyone else. Mason had a hole-in-one as well but Payton never got one:(. Blowing out the candles. Happy 7th birthday Cadynce! Tuesday, April 19, 2011. I just hop...

The Marlow Family: November 2010
http://themarlowfamilykc.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 1, 2010. This year the boys went as Micheal Jackson, Spiderman, and a fireman. The first year in a very long time that we have not had at least one football player. Beckym really got into it this year. He was keeping up with the older boys running house to house. We just had to follow along behind. We had a neighborhood get together before we went trick or treating. Here is Beckym sitting down at the table with the girls eating. Cadynce enjoying his food alone. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

perfectly imperfect: September 2014
http://allperfectlyimperfect.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Not my best parenting moment. Something about Halloween brings out the 12-year-old boy in me. I get all giddy and prank-y. A better, fancier word (appropriate for 40-year-olds) would be: macabre. Or maybe I never grew out of my short-lived goth phase? I felt like the worst parent EVER. It took 15 minutes to get everyone calmed down. Way to go, Mom. Traumatize your 3-year-old with a skeleton on the toilet. That he just began using. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Even if no one ...

perfectly imperfect: June 2013
http://allperfectlyimperfect.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 30, 2013. Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Good-bye cheese, my old friend. I want to be friends with food again. Stop feeling guilty. Bargaining. Remember when eating was fun? I was talking to my sister-in-law this week about my eating habits as a teenager. Try to remember the time when you ate what sounded good. I’m pretty sure that I ate French fries and soft-serve ice-cream most days of my middle-school career. Fast-food every day of high-school? Yep Giant Dr. Peppers from 7-11? I’ve long si...

perfectly imperfect: incriminating evidence
http://allperfectlyimperfect.blogspot.com/2014/03/incriminating-evidence.html
Friday, March 21, 2014. So, you know you had a really good time on your vacation when you get the photos back from Walgreens… Yes, I just said that I got photos from WALGREENS. Remember when you/me/everyone used to do that? And you waited, in suspense, for your precious roll of film? Well, I’m just really cool and retro like that. Actually, I bought a cheap, underwater camera to take photos on an excursion in the Dominican Republic last November. Wonder what is on the film? In my defense, it was. My last...

Sunday, December 15, 2013. Day in the Life. A day in the life of our busy little boy:. Carry your bottle like a football, put random things in your mouth, change outfits because you got in the dogs' water dish (again), find the remote and run around with it, get in to the dog's basket, pull all of Mom's cookbooks off the shelf, push the kitchen bar stools around the house. repeat. One active little boy and one VERY tired Mommy! The girls had their first sleep over with our neighbor and their bestie Miss K.

Monday, May 27, 2013. They love dress-up, and pink, and bows, and sparkles. but they aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. Love that side of them. Catching Rolly Pollies is their favorite. The love to put them in their bug barn and find lots of leaves and flower petals for them to eat. They tried to take them swimming in a bucket. The Rolly Pollies didn't fare to well:(. I love my girlie girls. but am so thankful that they have a splash of tom-boy in them! As H would call me. We had an extra team jerse...

perfectly imperfect: September 2013
http://allperfectlyimperfect.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 12, 2013. My husband and I don’t get to go out very often. When you are a parent of young children you are often inside your house by the time it gets dark. There are times when I am. Driving at night because it happens so rarely. It’s like I need to relearn how to do it. It reminds me of the reaction 17-month-old S had when we drove around in December looking at Christmas lights. It was a mix of awe and terror. He would squeal, point, and scream, “light! perfectly imperfect: Ode to Joy
http://allperfectlyimperfect.blogspot.com/2014/04/ode-to-joy.html
Monday, April 21, 2014. Here is our oldest son (aka the Pied Piper) rocking his “black-belt” recorder test. If you do not know what a recorder is, let me explain: it’s this skinny plastic tube that makes unbearable noise early in the morning after you hear, “Dang it! I forgot to practice ‘Amazing Grace’! 8221; B and I are singing our own ‘Ode to Joy’ now that his training is complete. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow me by e-mail. I need to vent.
