Ramblings of an aging Baby Boomer: Getting A Bit Nervous
http://oolabob.blogspot.com/2012/09/getting-bit-nervous.html
Ramblings of an aging Baby Boomer. Just trying to grow old gracefully, but it's not working very well. Getting A Bit Nervous. Well, it's almost the end of September and the erection campaign drags on. Oh how I wish it would end. I have a bad feeling about this election, the two candidates seem to be neck and neck despite their obvious different visions for this grand country of ours, and that bodes no one well. Bre's Recipes: Guiltless Alfredo Sauce
http://bresrecipes.blogspot.com/2012/07/guiltless-alfredo-sauce.html
Thursday, July 5, 2012. From Our Best Bites: Mormon Moms in the Kitchen. 2 cups low-fat milk. 1/3 cup (3 ounces) low-fat cream cheese. 3 garlic cloves, minced. 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan Cheese (best if you grate it yourself, as pregrated is too dry and the sauce will be lumpy). 1 In a blender, blend milk, cream cheese, flour, and salt until smooth and set aside. 4 Once the sauce has started to thicken, remove from heat. Whisk the cheese into the sauce and immediately cover the pan. After step three, ...

Wednesday, March 14, 2012. I was so surprised when I realized I hadn't posted this recipe yet! I LOVE this pie! My mom made this while I was growing up, and I've eaten it ever since. It is deliciously chocolate, and the coconut and pecans add chew and crunch and flavor. YUM! 1 (4 oz.) pkg. German Chocolate. 1 2/3 cup (13 oz.) evaporated milk. 1 1/2 cup sugar. 3 Tbsp. cornstarch. 1/8 tsp. salt. 1 un-baked pie shell, highly fluted. 1 1/3 cup angel flake coconut. 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Sunday, September 25, 2011. I really like the flavor of curry. This one didn't disappoint. It was delicious- AND easy. Bonus. (: I found it in the "Fix-It and Forget-It Big Cookbook" by Phyllis Pellman Good- all slow cooker recipes. I totally recommend the book. And no one paid me to say that. (:. 2 1/2-3 1/2 lb. fryer chicken, cut up (I just used my good-ole frozen chicken breasts). 1 Tbsp. curry powder. 1 garlic clove, crushed or minced. 1 Tbsp. butter, melted. 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion.
